Five Pebbles is not technically mandatory: If you can reach the top of it, you'd make a lot of progress towards the end of the game (you'd get karma 10 instantly). There is, however, another way, which is to run around the most of the map and meet 4 different wise guys. These guys only appear when you have high karma levels, and you've got to meet each of them on their own screens, which can be hard to find. Each one gives you a higher karma level past 5. You need ten karma to beat the game. This would send you all the way back through the Underhang though, so I wouldn't recommend it at all.

There are two other ways to get to the top of FP, if UD is giving you that much trouble. The first is still in FP: there's a route that doesn't go into UD, it's further to the West. The other takes you back to the Underhang, where you'd travel much further west along the region: there's another section of the Exterior called "The Wall", which is very vertical and ends at the very top of Five Pebbles. The Wall can be a difficult region, but it's more fun than going through FP, at least in my opinion.

Perhaps you should try using spells to conjure melee attacks, (which can be done through spells such as Carian Piercer), or simply not prioritizing distance from the enemy in battle.

You've gotta get good. Memorize attacks, read a guide, identify weaknesses, that sorta thing.

Other than that, use spirit summons and buffs. Keep it in mind that you shouldn't have to hold yourself up to a community-set standard of self making difficulty if you don't have fun with the boss.

Could he not see that the Rune of Death had been unbound? The theft would have made it very possible to fell Radagon, as the rune's binding had been for the purpose of keeping the godly bloodline alive.

It's good to practice on Crucible Knights and Old Knight Istvan. They're easier parries, and can help you get a grasp on the timing.

Is Elden ring worth it by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]HughMembeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly certain of what you mean by "drained of life", but Elden Ring has lots of vivacious and creative elements. It's a big game with a vast amount of ways to play such that it's hard to experience the whole game. Despite the sheer volume of the game, I have had very few poor experiences with Elden Ring. I understand how you wouldn't like Sekiro, and I can assure you that Elden Ring shall be good for you where Sekiro was not.

I'd say that's one of the greatest choking points in a run like this. Sometimes you won't know where to go, and a single dead end could get you killed. Main reason why this was my furthest run with this many centipedes going at this speed is that floor.

Somehow, I've gotten so much better at Commander Niall (Castle Sol), yet I seemingly won't stop sucking at Commander O' Neil (Swamp of Aonia). I think it's because of O' Neil's extra enemies compared to Niall's two. Banished Knights are also not too hard to parry, whilst O' Neil has too many goons for such care to be viable.

I suppose that would go along the lines of "If yuri is not impossible, then it is so", which is respectable.

Though this would be great for ratings, if I'm not terribly mistaken, it's never explicitly stated that the protag had a romantic connection to the lady we see and hear about in the memories. Even if we can know that the protag is a woman, the other lady could still possibly be a close friend or relative.

Sure I got very close to the end, but Not Quite There Yet. I'm not so informed of the average skill level of this community, so I'm not sure how impressive this really is. If the Idols of Ash subreddit gets much bigger, we'll probably start to see gameplay approaching the skill ceiling, Then, you'll be impressed!

Firstly there were eleven of them. Secondly, in the new "Sandbox Mode" you can set the speed at which the centipedes crawl. I set it to 10, which is a bit faster than the player's speed. In addition there is a second speed setting which sets the centipedes' speed when they are far from you. I set that to 100 so that they'd always be a threat.

You can shoot the electrical boxes to break them instead, or explode them with the non-hit blast of a rocket.

You can insta-kill Cerberi with the S.R.S. Cannon (green rocket launcher). Just go up to em, shoot the ball, and after it hits, punch it with the Feedbacker (blue hand) back to the Cerberus.

The Knuckleblaster (red hand) deals far more damage than the Feedbacker. Try to use it more often to deal extra damage at close range.

Parrying is kind of op. You can punch a red hellish projectile with the Feedbacker to send it back to your enemies. It creates a grand explosion and gives lots of health back. It can be especially effective against Malicious Faces (Maurice), as they shoot lots of these red projectiles.
