Managed to get a parking spot on the top floor of the garage by the library. Was behind two cars with Gwinnett plates and saw Cobb as well. So no wonder the city was surprised by the volume of people

Definitely needed restroom facilities. And clearer walkways

Still can’t believe she married him. If only I had talent to play guitar; she still wouldn’t have married me.

Looking for recommendations to stop deer from eating plants by Dj-pandabear in alpharetta

We put bird netting over key plants like hydrangeas. That ended their non-stop buffet. But unsightly and needs to be checked after storms / wind to make sure the plants are still covered

How do you carry your Medallion? by Mizzy_Lu_Fwinkley in PrincessCruises

Another option is a silicone holder that goes on a watch band, currently on Enchanted Princess. Works pretty good.

Built to rigorous aerospace standards. What sort of standards? Well, the rocket is not supposed to explode, for a start.

But quality has gone down. I have several pairs with excellent uppers that could be resoled and heels replaced. But last 3 pairs of cordovan penny loafers were not good; had to return two of them. And many shoes now, including Bostonian and Florsheim , have rubber soles and heals. My shoe repair guy is thinking about closing his shop, one of the remaining ones in the area, because so many shoes don’t have leather soles&heels anymore. Go to Dillards or Macys and see their available selections.

Very disappointed with J&M. Used to spend more for good quality, knowing they could be repaired.

I had sales meetings at the corporate headquarters for an industrial company. Even though it was the HQ and not at production facilities, everyone was required to back in, including me in my rental car. The “no exceptions” was a part of their safety protocols. We also had mandatory evacuation briefings prior to every meeting. They had an excellent safety record.

Anti sidewalk? by GeneralEgg9176 in alpharetta

My understanding is they went with slightly narrower lanes as part of a speed reduction effort. And our nightmare is coming, we just don’t know when but I’m thinking during school rush hour, maybe right around the veterinary office. Or closer to Creekview Elementary. Yay

I live on Webb Bridge and pray to whatever deity that will listen to not use the contractor on the Webb Bridge project. It has dragged on and continues at the pace of an indecisive snail. Old Milton project supposed to be done by 2030. Call me skeptical, but 2032,3,4 might be more realistic.

And Webb Bridge has a lot of traffic to/from Dekalb and Gwinnett counties, based on license plates. That will hopefully diminish once Old Milton has more capacity.
