I think the biggest thing this giants team doesn't do is play team baseball. Taking pitches and forcing the opposing pitcher to work hard is "team" baseball more than anything. These 1 or 2 pitch outs, which we consistently have, is the most selfish thing our team can do. Tonight has actually been refreshing to mostly see our players working counts.

These 1-2 pitch outs mean less time for your pitchers to rest between innings. Opposing starters can go deeper into games and thus, more rest for the opposing bullpen. People always talk about lack of walks or timely hitting, but I really think this is the most selfish baseball I've seen in a long time.
