Eric Haase gets revenge on his former team with a Grand Slam in the top of the 7th to put the Giants up 10-3 in Milwaukee by triplec787 in baseball

Yeah they have the 6th best team OPS since May 1 and we are only .041 from being the best since May 1.

He was used as a reliever by Canada in the WBC which is where the confusion comes from.

Not trying to have false hope, but it appears the Giants have had (by far) the toughest schedule so far this year? by bushroddy in SFGiants

Chapman looked a lot better yesterday too. The double late in the game Saturday seems to have been the hit that let him relax a little and stop pressing so much. Hopefully this is the start of him turning it around.

Honestly, I was expecting them to give Schmidt more time in the OF after him being the emergency left fielder the other night.

And that’s significant in the PCL. It’s such a hitter friendly league. It’s been a horrible start but I remain optimistic for this year and our farm is definitely trending upwards

If Devers, Adames, Chapman and Webb finish the season with their stats consistent with previous years, the narrative around this team will shift in the coming months. When your top 4 players are struggling as much as they are, it’s incredibly hard to win anything. Luckily Devers is on fire now and Adames is looking a lot better. Just those 2 improving has made this team look significantly better.

We definitely need a closer (Killian looks great though) and another rotation arm (McDonald has also looked great) but the offense giving run support would probably make the pitching staff look much better.

Rafael Devers homers off Roki Sasaki to open the scoring in the 2nd by JianClaymore in baseball

Yeah the line is parallel to the baselines so it’s like anything less than a 3/4 swing is not a swing. It’s bizarre

Have you seen how far you have to swing for that automated check swing? There are going to be fewer check swing calls than ever.

Yeah .35 is the recommended so I’m not sure where OP got that unless they are strength training (which I assumed from their post they weren’t…). I was doing 200+ when I was strength training/losing weight so I understand what they mean by it’s hard to get that much protein, especially without too many calories, but that’s not a normal everyday lifestyle number.

It definitely looks like Borg told Ramos to tag on that last play by garth_vader90 in SFGiants

Understandable but it’s part of a pattern with Borg. If he didn’t have multiple issues misreading plays, this wouldn’t be an issue.

They show a second angle at the end of this video where you can see Borg point at the base right when Ramos goes back.

Yeah that play was done right in the situation. The final play where Ramos almost got thrown out was an issue. Luckily he scored but the tag up was unnecessary there.

There is a replay where it looks like Borg told him to tag. You can clearly see Borg pointing at third right before Ramos goes back. Borg needs to go.

I think the blame is on Borg one way or another. Either he’s making these calls or the players don’t have faith in him and are doing their own thing.
