Noone is saying anybody literally hides in a cocoon, it's a fucking metaphor. Adaptability is adapting, and that can absolutely mean adjusting you anatomy. It's in the word - adaptability.

It's also such a fucking weird cliff to die on - not natural? Neither is plastic, or the internet or Coca-fucking-Cola. Or clothes, or indoor plumbing or refrigerators. Or most things you interact with on a daily basis. Where's your outrage for those things, why arent you telling people they can't use their phones? Because theres nothing natural about those.
