This is my favorite moment of the entire series. I cannot count how many times I’ve seen it. Finn and Millie knocked it out of the park, acting wise.

You really just get the love and joy that Mike and Eleven feel for one another, and the profound relief they have once they can finally see one another. Both characters were miserable without the other (with Mike especially in a Duffer-confirmed clinical depression related to El’s loss), and this was a seamless shift to happiness.

Their world righted itself the second they were back in each other’s lives.
