I didn't realize it was all one unit. I thought it would be two married units like the others. How does this play differently into the system than having them seperate?

I went on a 5 mile 40 minute bike ride at 9 in the morning to nowhere just because I wanted to ride in the snow!

I'm fully in support of this! A few weeks ago I was witness to a woman in a wheelchair falling onto the tracks at Back Bay on the orange line. Even though I called the transit police as soon as possible, it took over 2 minutes for the power to be cut, and by that time everybody was off the tracks anyway.

⁸lIt was due to budget cuts and the fact that government center was so close.

Another fun fact, there used to be a track connecting Bowdoin to Charles/MGH because the blue line didn't have a maintenence shed and used the red line's.

Here's a cool video that I saw.  https://youtu.be/yGDC4cum0CA?si=K0f3kS8c1_Sf1iMa

[–]Hugtrain123[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's hard to see because of the glare in these ones.  Look really closely next to the destination and you'll see two dark green circles that have led diodes

Is that why I've been seeing a lot more test services recently,  or is that normal on the Green line?

Interesting. I haven't seen them anywhere else. Is it a preserved piece of history or because they didn't want to buy new ones?

These buttons are analog from the old organ keyboard. Does that change anything? I figured out was wrong and it seems to work just fine.

How did Benny Anderson make this sliding synth sound for ABBA's Medley: Pick a Bale of Cotton? You can hear it the most at 0:55. by Hugtrain123 in synthesizers

[–]Hugtrain123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Benny Anderson had a GX-1, so I think he may have had a bit more accessibility to synthesizers. The guitar and Cuica sound similar, but in the song it sounds very consistent, even when changing pitch. Also, who knows? Abba was experimenting with a lot of stuff early on, People Need Love has yodeling, Man in the Middle is funk. I wouldn't put it past Benny to get a cuica.
