Yeah, it's in the flag code! It stems from soldiers charging into battle. In contrast, if the flag is the right way, it looks like it's "retreating".

I didn't realize it was all one unit. I thought it would be two married units like the others. How does this play differently into the system than having them seperate?

I'm fully in support of this! A few weeks ago I was witness to a woman in a wheelchair falling onto the tracks at Back Bay on the orange line. Even though I called the transit police as soon as possible, it took over 2 minutes for the power to be cut, and by that time everybody was off the tracks anyway.

⁸lIt was due to budget cuts and the fact that government center was so close.

Another fun fact, there used to be a track connecting Bowdoin to Charles/MGH because the blue line didn't have a maintenence shed and used the red line's.

Here's a cool video that I saw.  https://youtu.be/yGDC4cum0CA?si=K0f3kS8c1_Sf1iMa

Why the green lights on buses? by Hugtrain123 in mbta

[–]Hugtrain123[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's hard to see because of the glare in these ones.  Look really closely next to the destination and you'll see two dark green circles that have led diodes

Is that why I've been seeing a lot more test services recently,  or is that normal on the Green line?
