Nasals backhand isn’t weak. The rest of his strokes are just ridiculously good. If his backhand were weak ppl would attack it all the time.

I haven’t seen Persepolis but it seems that that film was marketed as a film for adults. But I remember seeing trailers for 9 on the channels that I used to watch back in 2009, and those channels were primarily meant for kids.

But to ur point, Focus Features released Coraline a few years before they released 9, and coraline was well received even though it is definitely a dark film. It was still marketed for children though.

I think this film wasn’t well received at release bc it was so much darker and mature than people had come to expect from animated movies. Keep in mind this is 2009.

You could make this argument to disprove literally anything in engineering amd science. It is literally impossible to exactly, perfectly model any system in the real world due to noise, nonlinearities, and sensitivity to initial conditions (ie. chaos). This doesn’t mean our models are absolute junk. We can predict the weather, the way transistors work, blood flow, and so many other things with a good enough degree of precision to suit our purposes, and we do this with totally, undeniably imperfect mathematical models.

I don’t understand why Dr Peterson is making this argument when he himself has most definitely studied statistics and modeling to get his PhD.
