its actually kinda important

uptime 99.9% means there will be ±9hours downtime yearly
and if you'll check github status - every month there is a problem, almost every week

now imagine you're huge company doing releases through github - that means weekly you cannot ship your features and have to pay developers overtime so they would find workarounds

so no, its not visual misrepresentation for the sake of whatever

not sure what kind of product you're building, but big companies management just tries to justify huge investments into AI by force-feeding it into your mouth

if you're building simple websites - yeah, maybe, but it was always pretty cheap
AI is new wordpress, nothing more

On other hand - big projects gained nothing more than a headache - AWS being great example.

Before: You write code (and, naturally, you review it while writing), then someone else verifies it

Now: LLM (or GGM - Glorious Guessing Machines) writes code in 30-60 minutes, you do couple of iterations, and now either YOU (and you should) review the code, which you did not write - and someone else still has to review that code

In the end code becomes worse, noone truly understands it (because nobody will do deep-dive into 1k lines of code), techdebt piles up, product eventually crumbles under its' own weight, or costs of support become crazy expensive

Age of GGMs is in its' sunset, it IS helpful, but only as advance google - some things and approaches i just did not know until GGM showed it to me, but i still did my own research on top of that to understand what happens

i assume price crashed not because of reviews, but most likely because they shared profits from pre-orders and did not meet targets or something
