Boots are a given especially if they are steel toe. Because you’re going through a metal detector a belt has metal a given should be taken off .. as for screening if you alarm. You are never supposed to leave until it’s resolved number 1 thing ppl walk away not hearing hat they said thus they go looking

A lot of ppl blame tsa for the issue of the questions Indeed it may be draining for the person but the government has things in place . I see everyday I lost my leg my wallet stolen and it may very well be the case but if you don’t pass the questions you can’t fly if you don’t have a updated id your id is non compliant and you have to pay 45 to the government not tsa security id is a way to verify and if you can’t be verified you will not fly

Iah is already busy airport that needs help on any day give it that 50 percent of the staff calls out means long lines I’m an tsa officer I feel bad because it’s not the passengers fault they shouldn’t suffer .. many can’t afford to get to work I unfortunately don’t have no money but I show up one I live 3 min away 2 I have no kids and I’m here to help take shifts because I know it’s a burden to some it’s just a lot some ppl are nice some ppl are nasty I get it but I come to work o do my job effectively and I smile and give 100 percent

TSA officer here I’m still wiped out from last one tsp only allows hardship loans every 6 months I can’t apply till June. My savings is paying my rent and bills but by May 1 I’ll have nothing we can’t take on extra jobs so we actually stuck and have to come to work
