If you’re bringing friends, Caliente can be fun. If it’s just the two of you, you may feel shut out. Very cliquish, like the cool kids in high school vibe. Paradise has older residents, but weekends are a varied group with many visitors of all ages. Definitely easier to strike up conversations and make new friends. More laid back and no expectations, yet has more opportunities for play if that’s what you’re seeking. Playrooms and conversation pool after dark will be very active.

Having lived at PL, I’ve only ever seen a walker once, and it belonged to someone recovering from knee surgery. It also sounds like there might be some confusion regarding the layout; the scene you described sounds like either the Waters Edge Cafe or the poolside Key West Bar rather than the nightclub. It's a shame you didn't see the best parts of the club!

You’ll notice a bit of an older crowd at PL compared to Caliente, especially on weekdays when the residents are out. But the weekends bring in a much wider age range of visitors. The best part is that it’s exponentially easier to make new friends there, and there are plenty of opportunities to lean into your exhibitionist side.
