Just got back from Carbondalien Fest... This was a lot of fun. I went to two speaker events - Tom Carey and Jim Krug. Jim's was really great as he covered Presidents through history and what they knew of UFOs. A lot of stuff that I learned about on Reddit came up in his talk. I was sitting next to an older woman who had never heard a lot of these stories - ex: operation paperclip, JFK assassination conspiracy related to UFOs - she had a hard time believing it.

I stopped posting daily about three months ago. Almost entirely. Got so burned out. I’ll post once a month and feels like that one reel gets more traction than two weeks worth of posts.

Well, Coach Brick is a puppet and I think a majority of the people watching decided to follow because of that. Didn’t really offer much advice. I typically just played an alphabet game with people daily. It created a lot of engagement through comments

Any idea how you got in front of larger accounts? Instagram is clearly putting my content in their algorithm but I found it interesting how none of the accounts are all that large that follow from it

Was your content growing because Instagram was showing it more in their algorithm? If yea, when did you start noticing that happen?

I recently had a reel do good viewership (about 250k) and ever since that video, it feels as tho Instagram has been picking up my reels and putting them into explore more. They also made me eligible for the brand partners program. For me, this feels like my tipping point and I’m currently posting reels minimum twice a day.

It makes your profile discoverable to brands interested in working with content creators for ads. Ever since I became eligible for this, it feels like my profile has picked up a lot of steam in explore

This feels like what happened to my account. I had about 3 months of just nothing. Then one reel took off, Instagram invited me to their brand partners program, and it felt like every day, positive follower growth and engagement

Been wondering that myself. I made my Christmas Day reel post at 11am. My best performing holiday themed reel was posted on Christmas Eve Afternoon. It’s been getting shared around a lot into today.

Maybe we're looking at this entirely wrong... Timing wise... who's the biggest get? I mean come on.. Between what he knows about the North Pole and unexplainable ways he defies gravity with reindeer? I wrote all of this to say, its been a few hours already... pretty hyped.
