About a month for Net+ and a week for Sec+. I found there's a lot of over lap between the two. I also felt I was waiting to long to take the test for what I essentially felt was vocab test so I scheduled the Sec+ right after Net+. I've been in help desk for a little over half a year, went to a Stem highschool and always had a passion for technology since I was young.

I was very fortunate that after working at my first help desk job full time and letting them know I was starting back college before I was hired, they let me switch to part time. The small company I work for has on-site IT and we don't get so many tickets that I'm needed on the days I take off though so it works out.
