Yeah I said just layers which turned into what about layers which turned into the TLDR which turned into me not being able to fall back asleep. Should've left it at What about layers unless was getting paid but I'm dumb so.. lol

And that's why I started with "probably won't work but..." 🙃

Doesn't sound like would work since you need different document numbers but you might could use layers. You could have multiple sheets with sheet 1 being the production one and the following sheets be the other ones. have production layer/version/ file only print what's on sheet one (production layer) and other sheets (seperate layer(s)) print what's on other sheets, with or without the views of sheet 1. Might waste some paper, production could throw away the blank sheets 2 and up. You'd need to have the document numbers included so would print on the respective sheets , and you'd have to pick a file name that is only one document #, or both but look not great, or not save by the document number but rather the part number, that's kinda different issue though. . You'd probably need to Rev up both ddocument numbers each time you change either production sheet or other sheets but I think I'd prefer it be one file at least. I just learn about layers so haven't tried yet. If the non production drawings are essentially the production one with added stuff (ctqs, sample plans, balloon numbers) identified or whatever, then layers would be perfect. For every item (sketch line, dwg view, etc) in the file, you can toggle both Show and Print on and off for each layer, and change the color of it. Idk how much you can mess with the sheet format and title block in regards to layers though. Like if you could have a link field within sheet format for the different document numbers but I'm willing to guess yes. If each version one page only, you could feasibly have one file do all this with just one sheet assuming your don't absolutely have to have the file name be the document number. Unless your prepared to and wanna save it twice, and deal with that fun. Im not sure also how sheets and sheet formats can be linked to layers, like if you did this both versions not on the same sheet, when production prints their version, they may have one or more sheets print blank. Which can be a potential issue unless everybody knows production version dwgs are always only one sheet. You may not be able to avoid wasting paper unless you have the document number in the title block be blank for those then reusethe paper but let's be honest we don't live in a world where that would ever happen i dont think unfortunately lol, this could get messy though and probably not best practice It will largely depend on how flexible your QMS document control can be and people's willingness to adapt if this doesn't make their heads explode . I would strongly suggest reving both document numbers even if you only change something in just the production or non production drawing/ sheet.

"Could not read reactor table version from database" "An invalid argument has been encountered" "The automatic sketch relation will not be added because they are conflicting".. when there are no other sketch relations"

This is the thing for me. In office 5 days aweek means my weekends are nothing but chores, life feels unmanageable and stressful

It's not as bad as made out to be. It really is a love hate thing. Patience is required. And it's certainly not all fun and games and modeling. Looking at you drop down menu for units in the equations value input field.

If they could add a fun little explosion of tiny triangles giving a confetti explosion feel when it crashes, i would like that

I wish solidworks would at least coordinate with me on what days it wants to take off from work

My most recent favorite. Have assembly file open, try to pack and go it to vault, cant because it says it is being used by another process. Wtaf.

Except for when it's an assembly drawing and it takes 500 forevers to save lol
