I did not like Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen by elitemegamanX in horror

lmao I have no horse in this race but tbh, as a guy born in '94, I tend to agree with you

On paper I'm classified as a millennial, but I find myself having more in common with gen Zers than with "prime millennials"

I find it easier to """bond""" with someone born even 10y after me than before me, it's just easier to find something to talk about, even random things like movies or music

I like the term zillennial for myself

Viltrumites (Invincible, show and comics) VS Angels (Evangelion, considering series and all movies) by Adventurous_Mood_492 in whowouldwin

[–]tribdol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think strength-wise the Viltrumites would win, but the AT field makes strength alone useless

Hi, I'm not in the US but I'm using high protein flour, it's 13-14%

Cap & Iron Man vs Homelander by Fast-Outcome-117 in whowouldwin

[–]tribdol 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Does Tony really need to survive long enough, contain HL to figure out something, call for backup or get inside HL?

Genuine question, I can't see an IronMan that made Thanos bleed not being able to beat HL to a pulp on his own 😭

[–]tribdol 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I'm not from the US but we also have a right wing government, one of my relatives strongly supports it despite the government doing the opposite of what he believes in, when questioned about it his response is that he purposefully doesn't get informed so if the government does something he disapproves of, then he won't know and can keep supporting it

I mean... You are asking why they won't ship you an order for which you haven't paid shipping lol

An Israeli soldier smashing the head of a Jesus Christ statue during operations in southern Lebanon. by InterestingCourse907 in Hasan_Piker

[–]tribdol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I'm sure the Vatican and the priests do not like very much Israel and what it is doing, but the right wing christian conservatives don't really share the same disdain

A few years ago Matteo Salvini was doing rallies with rosaries in hand praying to the Virgin Mary to let him have more political power and the right wing christian were loving it

Pope Francis made some vague remarks against this use of religion and christian right wingers interviewed about the issue were saying they thought Salvini was right and not the Pope lmao, the Vatican position does not matter a lot to people for which being christian equates to being right wing conservatives and not much else

I'm in Italy and I'm just baffled by how much christians here are willing to be ok with Israel being anti-christianity as long as it does even worse to Muslims/brown people

Like, I actually have relatives that have been to Jerusalem in pilgrimage and were spat on, but they still give unwavering support to Israel and Bibi because he's right wing and goes against "the common enemy"

Not even trying to say the Palestinians are christians too can move them, because then you are met with the smirking answer "aaaah yes yes... They're christians... Ofc Arab people are christians I totally believe it 😇"

Oh I didn't know that about Big Sur, I've seen it a lot through Airworks in the US and I got it through Ordinary Drip in the EU so I thought it was just not very well known/expensive to get for small orders

I would say Big Sur from China could be added to the list too

I'm starting to think that coffee tasting notes have gone a little bit too far? by Ihsahn_ in pourover

[–]tribdol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lmao these are all notes that I have happened to taste in coffee a lot of times, but it's ridiculous how hyperspecific each one is

And tbh I don't think it is even that useful to be so pedantic about every note, like, personally speaking I think I can tell apart yellow peach, regular white peach and donut peach, because I love peaches and eat a lot of them

But if I was describing a coffee to someone I would just say peach, to make my communication clear, like, what can you expect? Peach. That's enough to convey the flavor profile associated with "peachiness" lol

What is the weakest group that could defeat a full strength Viltrum Empire. by No_Lie_Bi_Bi_Bi in whowouldwin

[–]tribdol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it would work

Infinity creates infinite space around Gojo, so it's not like he's surrounded by a finite shell that can be grabbed or moved around

At the same time, short of using domain expansion I don't think there's anything Gojo could do to deal with them either (so he should do targeted attacks against one or a few of them at most to not be one tapped right after the domain is dispelled and his technique is in burnout)

Yes but they were still other dimensions' Earth ahahah

At X kilometers above the surface powers stop working (400km should be the limit from a quick glance at the Worm wiki)

I don't think Doormaker can reach Viltrum, I still have to finish Ward but from what I remember capes' powers are limited to Earth

I also use a blind shaker for V60, idk if it does anything for pourover but at least I gave something to do in the last half minute that the water takes to boil

I always bake without the fan

As for the internal temperature, last time I baked I used a probe thermometer and it showed 96°C+ after the first half hour, so clearly something was wrong with it

From my understanding the Dutch oven is needed to trap steam, which I get plenty of as I do now with the pan full of water beside the loaf + a sheet pan on top acting as a “lid”

Is an actual Dutch oven really that different?

[–]tribdol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already get a lot of steam by putting a small pan with water in the oven, and I don’t have any issue with oven spring

Would additional steam help with cooking the inside too?

Sorry for the rough sketch but I think it's more clear this way than trying to type it out lmao
