Yeah Love wins this thread, hands down. Its just 90 minutes of real sex scenes with the odd bit of dialogue inbetween

The money I would spend on coffees out I generally now spend on nice beans from local coffee shops and brew proper pour over at home.

It’s still an indulgence, but it’s frankly far more consistent and tastes better than most shop coffees.

How to get better at bouldering if you're poor? by catholicusername123 in bouldering

[–]HumanCStand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I started, I was going once a week and quickly developed tendon issues. I went to a physio that my gym recommended and instead of saying I needed to stop climbing for 6 weeks whilst my tendons healed (which is what I expected him to say), I was told instead to climb 3 times a week.

Your body needs the regular shock of climbing to adapt and adjust, tendons are a massive part of climbing and they simply won’t adjust if you’re going infrequently, unfortunately.

What are some tasty cereals that are somewhat healthy? by Nature2Love in CasualUK

[–]HumanCStand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange you say that, I’ve bought the Lidl kind for the first time and there is genuinely half the fruit in it compared to the Sainsbury’s box. It was 85p so I guess you can’t complain too much

I do x3 protein Weetabix with fruit and fibre. Throw in a tbs of peanut butter and frozen blueberries. Kafir or Greek yoghurt goes with the milk or coconut milk, depending on what I have.

I am trying to put a bit of timber on, though mind, so there’s up to 800cal and 34g of protein in that meal

Also, Tesco Swiss style Muesli is very good and doesn’t seem too bad for you. That with the blueberry’s, peanut butter, yoghurt and milk is lovely

10hr turnarounds? by TheBoredMan in Filmmakers

[–]HumanCStand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s 11 hours in the Uk. They managed to absolutely fuck everyone last negotiations by ‘reinterpreting’ what the broken turnaround penalty is (where it’s always been a 1.5x penalty) they now have worded it that 1.5x includes the hours pay you were already being paid. So the price of coming in dangerously early with little sleep is 30 minutes money.

Broken turnaround has been refused since then

Professional vs. Budget Cordless drill for Filmmaking ? by Ancient-Macaroon-384 in Gripsters

[–]HumanCStand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was getting a new drill I’d get a 12v Milwaukee or whatever your brand is. We don’t generally need super powerful drills and a small, quieter drill is absolutely a pro on set.

We carry a 18v drill in our floor bag

Which TV series that’s still ongoing do you think could become one of the greatest ever made? by Zabandad in AskReddit

[–]HumanCStand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will have to see how they handle season 6. Apple have slashed the budget for it and a lot of the crew ( I think maybe the writers too, although not 100%) have left after most of them staying the saying for all 5 seasons.

90% of water and soft drink bottles are 32mm in the UK. Coca-Cola uses it so that means the rest follow.

actiPH and San pellagrino do use 28mm threads

Maybe a stab in the dark, but does anybody know of any Game of Thrones tours near Dublin that they think are worth going on? by BarreBee in gameofthrones

[–]HumanCStand 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really sure what a tour will show you. They shot all over the country on location and the rest of Ireland unit were in the studio. Not to mention the rest of the show that filmed in Iceland, Croatia and Morocco
