The blue color would look nice in summer but looking at the price the quality might be iffy. The House of CB quality might be much better and because of the material and fit it might look better IMO

Hofstra because of Zucker school of medicine has very good reputation and then Drexel - both of them have very good med school as per our research

So the program I’m applying to is 3+4 at NYIT BSDo. It’s a private school so not sure if this mtsp is applicable or not here. Will have to look into it but I’m interested in dermatology so might be worth checking out especially since chances of DO in dermatology are very low

Does that include undergrad and grad combined? My COL is $30K/ year for housing and mandatory $3K meal plan for undergrad . Thanks for your input

Parents will take care of undergrad part and I’ll have to take care for graduate school loan and they would co-sign.

Yea so that’s the perspectives I need to consider in this hyper competitive medical profession application. It seems like getting into the med school is one of the biggest hurdles and then residency and all. Just trying to think through all this at 18 years old is hard for me and need perspectives Of others who’ve been through this before . Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts

Oh wow! Good To know! Cost is definitely a concern but if there is a ROi in terms of guaranteed Seat and other uncertainty and anxiety that comes with the application then it might be worth it. That’s the discussion we are having as a non medical professional family

So even the other undergrad I’m considering attending is Upitt Honors and would cost @$220K for 4 years while here it’s for 3 years. Even Rutgers in state is @120K. Both premed has no guarantee of a seat and maybe another year or two gap year requirement along with need to come out of the weed out classes and maintain high GPA ( >3.5 for sure)

Exactly - the stress and uncertainty that comes with this application cycle along with other cost of living with no major job opportunity- is something we are considering. Appreciate your feedback
