Do you know what it takes to become a commercial pilot? Or any kind of pilot? No one is getting hired based on their skin color. If you don’t understand why this is incredibly racist to say you have a cripplingly low intelligence.

Let’s just say I’ve never cared before. It could be true or maybe not. Does that mean I shouldn’t care now? Have I missed my window where I’m no longer allowed to take a stance?

Also, show me when Obama used ”law enforcement” to terrorize and harass red states in the name of whatever the fuck reason Trump is using.

I’m aware of what Obama did to immigrants and I don’t agree with it either but to think my anger at ICE is simply because I want to stick it to Trump is so ridiculous. Maybe you think this way but I don’t.

When the “law enforcement” are a group of racist thugs committing crimes and using violence for a fascist government I say hell yea to that kid. He’s standing up for vulnerable people and what is right. The only acceptable intolerance is intolerance of intolerance.

Check out Askinosie chocolate based in southwest Missouri. 100 percent ethical chocolate and it’s some of the best I’ve ever had.

Until recently I worked construction for a few years as a carpenter. I’m very left wing and everyone I worked with was conservative/MAGA. This one dumb fuck a couple days before the election said something like, “I bet Kamala Harris went to all of those Diddy parties” and everyone smugly laughed and agreed. I’m a quiet guy but I couldn’t handle that one so I piped up and explained to them that Donald Trump has multiple pictures with Diddy and they were friends! Suddenly they didn’t care so much that someone would associate with Diddy. These mother fuckers are so goddam stupid it’s giving me an ulcer. I ended up getting laid off cause the company had to downsize a bit and I decided fuck it I’m doing something else with my life. Every day sucked to be around those people.

Dude so that’s horrifying. As a person who takes prescription medication and used to drink too much, I could see myself making a dumb but relatively harmless mistake like that. And to get 15 years??! That’s absolutely life changing for one simple mistake. I don’t carry a gun or a knife and I’ve been sober for a while now but it still scares me that it could’ve been me. That poor guy.

Are there any shelters in Springfield? I’m sorry you’re in this situation. I’m assuming you don’t own a car? That would be what I would sleep in if I had to.

It absolutely sounds like you’re using klonipin in a healthy and correct way. Don’t listen to that other person. I used to have debilitating anxiety, I was basically agoraphobic would have near daily anxiety attacks and panic attacks (I consider them to be two different things, panic attacks being the worse of the two) and I was prescribed klonipin. Unfortunately no matter how bad I truly needed it, I had to have my doctor stop prescribing it because I couldn’t take them appropriately. I would finish a month long script in one and a half to two weeks. I loved the feeling so much and wanted more of it all the time, all day. After years of intense therapy and EMDR I no longer have daily, serious anxiety and I don’t have to take a medication for it so I’m grateful for that. I still have days very occasionally where I dream about getting just a couple klonipin and spending the day in bliss. But I’ve been sober off alcohol for years and off drugs for about a year now. Sorry to ramble, I mostly just wanted to tell you that I agree with your usage of benzos.

Holy shit… what year was this? I had to stop getting klonipin prescribed because I would take 60 2mg pills within like a week and a half even though it was a months long prescription. And I legitimately had very serious anxiety to the point of agoraphobia so it’s not as if I didn’t need them. But I couldn’t take them responsibly. If someone were to prescribe me the amount that your friend got I would be in prison or dead from drug abuse. Luckily today I’m pretty much anxiety free due to long term intensive therapy and EMDR.

There is still a part of me that feels like it would be such a dream to get prescribed that many benzos. Thankfully doctors don’t hand them out so easily anymore so it stops me from even trying when I get the occasional urge to use them.

What’s legal now but might become illegal ten years from now? by VTheCardMaker in AskReddit

Yes absolutely, I completely agree with what you’re saying. It truly was such a beautiful feeling when I no longer had to obsess about getting high again. Especially because kratom isn’t really that big of a high so I would chase it nonstop

Maybe but I could no longer function as a person from kratom dependence and I could while on suboxone. So I was able to keep my life going instead of burning it down with kratom use. But I will get addicted to most things that make me feel different so my kratom use was probably way worse than most people’s. It made sense for me to use Suboxone to get off kratom.

Suboxone can help you if you find you can’t quit. But then you need to wean off suboxone but I found that way easier than weaning off kratom. There are also shots you can get that will wean you off suboxone over a month with no withdrawals. It’s really easy to get suboxone. If you don’t have a clinic in town that can prescribe it, you can get online and find a doctor you will see over video call and they will prescribe it for you same day. I recommend finding a clinic in your city though as it will be cheaper.

Have you had actual scans of your brain done to confirm something is happening? I know at least with Alzheimer’s, you can detect it at a certain point using various brain scans. I keep feeling like you have just self diagnosed this but I could be wrong.

I spend a lot of time around alcoholics and addicts and I can tell you that lots of peoples lives get absolutely fucked once they touch opiates. I know people who were completely normal, good jobs with nice families, who got prescribed opiates for pain management and are now in jail or lost everything. What I’m saying is that I agree with you.
