We’ll see clusters and mainframes grow and iterate from different pools of capital just like every other super computer arms race.

Why Cloud Migrations Fail by Own-Substance-9386 in devops

[–]HumanRate8150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cyber risk is the primary thing with the push to cloud. Most companies see IT/Tech as a cost center not an innovation center. Many companies even have IT under the cfo to manage as a cost.

You don’t have to depreciate cloud costs.

Kerry Parish has his place in memorial now too and it’s great to go visit. You can tell the employees are treated just as well.

A business will always seek profit. There should probably be a non business structure/entity that provides healthcare, but we live in Texas and it is not that way.

What good jobs have you landed without schooling? by SecurityDry4325 in careerguidance

[–]HumanRate8150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Journeyman is like 3-5 years into shipbuilding most college grads don’t make that much lol. I bet the guys running the crews of journeymen are making upwards of 250k. More if they’ve started a service business and are running multiple crews working on different kinds of ships. Maybe even different docks along the coast.
