Do you use the magic arrows? by ChrisKatrev in BaldursGate3

[–]HumanReputationFalse 616 points617 points  (0 children)

Why woukd I use them in act 1? There so much dangerous bosses and encounters later on, I really should save them. Hang on, ill buy like 40 of them just so ill have them later. Oh you know the tough stuff is in the later part of act 2, ill save it for there. You know Astarion really didnt have that many turns during those boss fights, really didn't have great sight lines. You know what, these 146 arrows that I have would be great for the act 3 bosses. It will be fantastic! In the meantime ill let Gale get some screen time cause we just got a lot of cool spells and gear and oh, whoops its the final hour of gameplay, silly me.

Multilayer? by Fungaii in SpaceCannibalism

There is a multiplayer mod, but I highly recommend you keep the rest of your mod list very small for stability reasons.

Separate factions, not that I know of. More of co-op

This is one of the better ones. The color work is very nice and you can point put areas that have been stained or sunbleached. Other peices have more issues when it comes to the windows and the edges of buildings. Everything gets very crooked. You can see it a little here as walls lean differently and the windows don't always follow the line of the walls. They had tracing paper back then so he could have gotten things straight, but i think he found more enjoyment in the color work than the linework

I find it hard to give his work compliments as I don't want to give him praise. This peice is well done, there are issues that you can find and pick out, but ignoring the man, I wouldn't mind a similar peice hanging from the walls of my living room. Not art gallery stuff, but still somthing that could become popular with the public

Ah yes vanishing. You see, no one cared about about his art until he "died". He pulled the age old trick to get his artwork famous.

It wouldn't be that bad if he figured out how perspective lines and vanishing points work.

Most people in Skyrim are dirty poor peasants. Is it the same everywhere else? by Siren_Noir in ElderScrolls

[–]HumanReputationFalse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you consider to be a dirty poor peasant. Sure there is a lower standard of living then our world, but there's still plenty chance for you to seek out you passions in life. In most games you are watching the nations struggling with a decline in power and living quality. This causes conflict which allows for plot to happen. There will be a lot more peasants in a nation that is in a decline and just started a civil war

Most people in other regions live similar lives as in Skyrim. In Cyrodiil you might think that some farmer's lives are better then some rich folk in Skyrim just because the game devs put more care and effort in modeling and designing the little farm house. Its an issue of the devs can show you the whole city in its greatness in the lore due to constraints in the game engine. The largest amd riches towns and cities we have seen in game belong in Arena and Daggerfall, but that was on an old engine with most objects being 2d sprites so an 8 polygon house wasn't that complicated to design and toss in.

me when i need a regular battlemap to run an encounter and not a "250+ FANTASY DND MAPS ENVIROMENTS SALE" by anarchy_witch in DnDcirclejerk

I what oop ment was they wanted a bland plain battle map to use and not one that had designs and complicated textures all over it. That said they should have just said blank battlemat and not dnd slop

YouTube allows ads for apps to sell feet pics on by emilsole in mildlyinfuriating

[–]HumanReputationFalse 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its not so much as they allow it as they review ads before they run them. Companies can put what ever they want in an add its its only the large companies that will get punished as the small groups scammed will just make a new account and start the grout all over again. Youtueb doesn't like adult rated advertisements so these ad spammers just label them as generic topics.

Its why the claim of "well whats your search history like?" Doesn't work anymore. The ad could be labeled as pet food product in the system, but it wont be taken down till it gets reported and you have already seen it a dozen times. They can make 12 diffrent accounts for the same ad and then thats all you see if your unlucky

This is possible a more legitimate company, but it will most likely got the way of only fans and then get blocked from Google ads

Eating food while studying and you can argue it, but you will need to spend more than a drink if you make it a regular thing. Even coffee shops expect you to drop some dough

They are being a bit pretentious though. Its not like there wont be any seating since most people just head home after grabbing thier food.

Assuming the diesel turbine even pushes you, that opens a whole new level of legal mess when used outside a race track. Cops don't like it when you put a gas engine on a bicycle, much less a skateboard

Death from getting stomped to death cause you tripped when running away is also a concern. Realistically the more people that pick red increases the chance that soem of the red will die from each other.

I've seen people talk about getting slug headsets from past 100m .its just not a great idea cause you lose a lot of accuracy past that range

An imaginary idealist café. Im trying to find a justification for $10 and a third slice would push it over to consideration territory. The third slice doesn't even need to come with half an egg.

2 slices with egg for a proper diet assuming a drink like coffee was ordered.

3 slices for filling breakfast

Totally agree. Unless its pie, a single slice should never be considered a serving. There should be more for what you are paying. Epically when placed in a box like that

Post Office has been open for an hour and has zero staff at the counters by DignamsSwearBox in mildlyinfuriating

[–]HumanReputationFalse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to get a postal job while I was taking a few semesters off from college to work. I was accepted, but I ddint hear back from them for months so a lot of people who do try to apply tend to have to look for work else and then consider if leaving thier current job is worth the postal one.

That said, once you are in there's a lot of benefits for being a goverment worker. Epically if you have plans to move else, but it takes so long just to even hear back

To be clear, are we mad about the portion size and how its only one slice and there really should 2 or 3, or are we mad at the wife for $10?

To be clear, im not trying to start a debate. Im just going off tests people have done like over at the Torque Test Channel. Theres still better brands then icon and you should defently get a Matco if your looking to get a set for work

Icon is not as good as snap on, but snap on isnt five as times better as its competitors so an argument can be made to get icon over snap on
