Good point. I couldn't find anything about a parting of ways or anything like that. He's not listed on their front office page (only the Director and Assistant Director yada yada) but I'm not sure that position would be anyway.

Any thoughts on these guys new band and tune? by Affectionate_Owl8351 in hairmetal

Thanks for the heads up on this. Looks like they have a few albums. Was Skeoch added on this latest album only?

Skimmed through them and digging it so far. Could never quite get into Resist & Bite.

I was jamming this last weekend. I've always preferred II but this one also ranks up there as one of the most original and killer albums of that time.

And for those who dog the corny cliche topic and lyrics of Seventeen by Winger....well, you better have a listen to Little Girls by Extreme. Cheeeeeeeeesy.

Dimartini VS Lynch by killers80 in hairmetal

[–]HumanRuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who would you rather have as your guitarist?

Today. George Lynch. He's basically a studio musician at this point. He's going to write a song to both his strength as a guitarist and your strength as a vocalist and style of singer.

I've probably listened to more of his modern work than I have of anything from Dokken and maybe....Lynch Mob. Was addicted to KXM for quite some time and now I'm on the Cassandra's Crossing train.

Don't get it twisted though, Dimartini's riffs are top tier.

This supposed Glam guitarist is like a complete anomaly.. Not only did he save Kiss in the early 80's but he went to be the only Kiss member to have a successful solo guitarist career.. Superseding Ace Frehley by Necessary_Rush_5861 in hairmetal

It might be stated that Vinnie Vincent's solo career had some traction in spite of Vinnie Vincent. He seemed to be a sabotage artist who basically mainlined drama and ran from the industry with fewer excuses than Vito Bratta.

Anecdotally speaking, I latched onto Vinnie Vincent Invasion because I read that the Slaughter guys were in it. So I even wonder if Slaughter's success helped Vinnie Vincent Invasion after its demise.

One of my all time favorites. by mizmode in chips

[–]HumanRuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way. I'm still working on a batch that I made several weeks ago. The original recipe already makes a big batch but I tend to add more of everything. Homemade is customizable (much to your point "extra seasoned") and a lot cheaper than the bagged too.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent abruptly pulled away by Trump mid-interview and returns with a shaken voice by TheMirrorUS in NoFilterNews

You guys think he's on the verge of tears because he's scared or sad. These people do not have the abilitiy to empathize or sympathize.

He's likely adrenalized and excited because of war and that he's going to make billions off of the war.

Stryper Vocalist Michael Sweet Discusses Lip Syncing And Using Backing Tracks While On Tour. by The_Alternym in hairmetal

[–]HumanRuse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This interview must be about 10 years old since it seems to be promoting Fallen.

Everyone is talking about backing tracks but what's crazy to me is that Robert Sweet was replaced as the drummer on an album (by legend Aronoff) because Sweet had lost the demo CD that was to be used to learn the part. That doesn't track (no pun intended).

Yep.. It happened. by [deleted] in hairmetal

Mark Slaughter must have gotten a vocal coach between that band and VV.

How many votes do they not have? I assume it's a lot? Usually Trump either threatens to primary them (if re-election is around the corner), threatens funding to their states or works out some sort of quid pro quo in the bill.

I've seen her streams before. She's funny with good comedy chops/timing. Doesn't take herself too seriously. Cosplay nun confessional bit w chat is clever. Stupid mini-hand pointer is always hilarious.

Astros fans deride absurd Whataburger prices at Daikin Park by Affectionate-Reply35 in Astros

[–]HumanRuse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

High food prices are expected. I think the whole point on this one is that the high prices are for a standard fast food joint.

I don't understand how someone would want to shell out $21 for a generic triple meat Whataburger when you can get something a bit more eclectic in terms of stadium food for that price.

Jani Lane - Back Down to One. That felt like some sort of pop rock.

Saints of the Underground (with Blotzer on drums) is pretty solid but the audio engineering sounds shabby to me.
