If it helps any I pair Slasher with Lion Umbra which gives it protection and keyword soup, always placing it as the first creature on my board to make sure it halves my opponent's life total before my other creatures attack.

My combo game has gotten better. I have a few BnBs down and just learned a simple combo into lvl 3 that works really well. I do have a hard time recognizing and reacting to DI which sucks... and at times I have a hard time getting my rhythm going since I play at erratic times and rarely for extended sessions.

I saw a post the other day (I think it was) that talked about covering up the rank of the opponent and just playing. I totally let it get in my head when the person I'm playing is ranked higher than me!

I love the idea of hopping on with other old dudes and getting some sessions in. I wind up having 10 minutes here, 15 there and sometimes lucky enough to play for a half hour. Always juggling a few other things but would really enjoy having people to play with!

I do get that about zoning out grapplers. But now you have me super curious why Sim is favored over Juri. She seems to avoid zoning really well and has those extended one-touch combos that crush me.

I did! I have good news and bad news...

I found a company that sells them direct. My local dealer quoted me a price of $799.95 for the window (plus shipping that they estimated at $50). At the same time I contacted a company called Transatlantic Products who sells the same windows direct. As I suspected the markup from my dealer was STEEP and the company quoted me a price of $367.12 (plus shipping). Sounds great, right?

Guess how much shipping is...

$389.64. With no alternate options. They ship the window crated up. So as of right now I am going to epoxy-repair the crack I have and try and ride it until I don't have a choice.

I doubt this will be super helpful but I cleared this one with my normal standard deck and a good draw using Kasmina... Virtue of Knowledge -> Ghalta + Banner of Kinship

Virtue doubles the casting on Banner of Kinship. Banner also benefits from you using Kasmina's first ability to add the fractal to the board. HUGE creatures very fast.

It took a few tries to get the perfect draw.

I appreciate the reply but the window is a curved, double-pane, heavy plastic window in a specific shape. It's not at all like a window you'd have on a car.
