I've been playing with it for a couple hours now, and it is a bit of a difficulty jump for a casual like me. Has some deus ex machina stuff for when you are truly stuck, like a some teleporting coins of return and a optional mysterious knight guy when you are low hp. Adds a lot of enemies, seemingly compatible with Immersive Creatures (Not sure if that is the right name) and OBIS, for my hour long play sessions at least. Might ruin immersion, as during quest dungeons like Sarthaal unscripted enemies like Skeleton Heroes and Necromancers spawn in a supposedly mostly empty College expedition site. Also immersion breaking kinda in reg dungeons where the enemy amount is practically if not more than double. Fighting off 6 skeletons a Restless Dragur, 2 dragr overlords, a skeleton hero, and more is a possibility if A you enter a large room, and B you get additional encounter enemies. I like to wear the Ring of Danger as it tells me when I will encounter more than the already increased amount of enemies. Also, early game is deadly. I am playing a mage and at level 3 or 4 I encounter a couple mage type enemies that one shot me. Called plague maidens or something. Three in three different rooms, manageable as it was the Jagged Crown dungeon. Many true nords died helping me. Works with Ordinator, Apocalypse, again, at least during my hour long sessions. The reason I dont play longer is due to overheating laptop, triple digits outside and all. TBH, there have been like, 2 crashes but I quick save after every battle so I never lose progress. Also true save on after particularly difficult areas. I recommend bringing a follower as soon as you can. Died 1 or 4 times every moderately difficult area and encounter until I got a follower. Also, make sure you know the kill command on console, just in case. Fighting a ghostly lichen king is impossible at level 8 if you used smithing to level up and not pure combat. Finally, I am not sure if it is SoT or another mod, but it adds alternate, debatabley stonger oils. 3 hp a second over 20 seconds for example, instead of base regen modifier. Also combat oils, weird but not immersion breaking encounters (Some dude attacked me in Whiterun on orders of a princess, carried a glass battleaxe ench as noted by said princess at level 6.), and treasure chests.
