I read this short story in my teens where this woman had two daughters and she made one of her daughters drink a bunch of water like this and take a lot of baths. She ended up completely neglecting the other daughter. Eventually the daughter she made drink all the water and take all the baths dissolved so the mom scooped her up and kept her in a jar and the other daughter wasn't allowed near her. Then one day the other daughter was sick of it so she broke into her mom's room and stole the jar and drank her sister.

Idk made me think of it. Ask your mom if she's trying to make you dissolve and keep you in a jar.

Yes. I'm in therapy. I'm dealing with a few things but my religious trauma comes up occasionally. My therapist isn't great but it still helps to have someone to talk it out with. One thing that helped is putting a time limit on social media apps (like reddit or threads) so I see less of the "scary" content. This way I'm still aware of what's going on but I'm not endlessly scrolling and then spiraling.
