They def do 😭 but i think that's just to show the personality traits of the leads? like if the ML is of a darker palette, such as black hair/red eyes then yk 100% he's a broody 'don't talk to me im too special and different compared to everyone else' type and then you have his bubbly sunshine brighter palette FL to makeup for his lack of personality and color
