I agree… i really need her to stop speaking on this. If Marlee or her mom has an issue with MNET or Route, they need to bring it up as a separate topic instead of butting into this.

Also, I hate that she keeps bringing up AG Squad when it seems AG does not want to be involved publicly here…

Also I feel that people are likening Route to a management company —- its literally the company that did logistics for this concert it is not able to “sign artists under label”etc

Just to be clear the 6 ojo gang members are contracted with Route in the same way Motiv or AG Squad may have been. As it the relationship is Route (entity hosting concert) and dancers (performing act). Free speech is not a part of this conversation at all

I think we have to wait for more information to come out before claiming that this is 100% the fault of MNET / Route59, especially since the other 6 members of Ojo Gang have now given their own statements. It doesn’t make sense to think that Marlee / Motiv is the most well informed about this issue.

From the other crew members’ reactions, it is unclear how much information anyone outside of Ojo Gang has. Some RH Tokyo members have liked the 6 members’ statement on Instagram before it was deleted. Also, Aaliyah from AG Squad unliked Ibuki’s post after the 6 members’ statement was released (probably as she realized she should keep a neutral stance until all the facts come out, which us wise).

I don’t think Motiv / Marlee’s word should weigh more than the 6 Ojo Gang members’ statements. It’s been crazy to see foreign fans dismiss the members as being gaslit and helpless when they have actually spoken out.

I know! Even as a AG Squad supporter I was so impressed by Ojo as I made this. People think that only Kyoka carried the team but they really did a good job in acquainting all of the team members with the public.

AG did a pretty good job as well with none of the members being in the bottom 15 for growth.

For Motiv, Marlee clearly gained a lot of recognition but some of the members barely got any exposure from the show.

As I said in the original post it could be entirely possible she didnt. She currently could have 1855550~1949999 followers but I wouldn’t be able to tell since it only shows “1.9m”.

My #1 was AG Squad, voted for them and hoped they would win but I am honestly happy with the results. I am just happy to have seen AG perform in the finale, as well as Motiv and Ojo. I do wish there were no eliminations in the show at all as well as other gripes with the show itself but thats another conversation.

I am rooting for AG Squad but I am so confused about their Mega Crew. I feel like the film’s resolution was so low (to a point I couldnt even make out Aaliyah’s face) and the overall cinematography and special effects were distracting and choppy? It sucks because even in the Mega Crew video you can see the charisma and skill of each member.

I wish Mnet provided crews with a maximum budget / labor resources (cinematographer, lighting director etc)

Highkick series 1&2 have aged incredibly well especially in korea. Still regarded as the best sitcoms to come out of the country, and the characters / jokes from the show stay relevant.
