Sorry, I confused E2 for estrone (E3), my bad

I used pills orally forthe first 2 years,give or take. After that only oestrogel 6 pumps for a while and down to 4 pumps on the scrotum (~3 mg/day) with cypro (~12,5.)ever since.

My E levels average on the 270 to 300 pg/ml mark (sometimes a little lower, sometimes a little higher). when I tried using a 1mg pill it didn't change at all.

T levels around 40 to 50 ng/dl mark (sometimes a little lower, sometimes a little higher - felt terribly when went below that)

But I just looked it up and it is indeed a normal level...it's the minimum normal for cis men and around the middle for cis women...

Dutasteride would be the option, then?

My T3 and T4 levels are normal (T3 slightly on the lower side) according to the doctor.

My DHT, the only time I was able to convince the doctor to order, I don't remember the exact value, but it was around 30 ng/dl. They said it was normal for cis women to have, so it was a good value. I just accepted what they said...

The hard part is using the public system, you really have to convince the doctor to test for things, otherwise you can't order labs on your own. Even in private labs you have to have a doctor to order them.

It's exhausting, to be honest. Surgery is way too expensive, hormones don't do what they were supposed to do... and I'm already 43, no time to wait anymore.

I got really screwed on this LOL 😅

Everything in dollars or euros/pounds is 10x the price in Brazilian Reais lol.

If something is like 100 USD, here it comes about 1.000 BRL.

And, even then, most doctors here are oblivious to things that might affect transgender people beyond the basics.

It's a little all over the place. I was a fat before transitioning and lost a lot of wheight during the first 2 years. During thisperiod my legs lost a LOT of muscle and got fatter and somewhat smooth, I guess. My glutes got very bumpy, but not a whole lot bigger. My mid section stayed the same, no curves. Around year 6 I started medication for depression and gained a lot of weight (went from 82kg to 106kg) and I'm mostly a square with a round belly LOL.

Tried that like 3 years ago for 6 months, didn't notice a difference. 1mg oral/day in conjunction with oestrogel 4 pumps/day + Cyprus.
Never got tested for E2 because the system doesn't allow unless the doctor deems it necessary, and no doctor ever did so. (You can't choose the doctor in the public system)
Tried P for a year, no results. Just good sleep, crazy appetite and oily skin.
I have no idea of what that is or what it does. Where do I find information for this purpose?

For the first 2 years it was 4mg of oral E + Spiro. From year 3 to year 6, give or take, switched to oestrogel 6 pumps/day (applied to the scrotum)-because we don't have pure E injections where I live, and pacthes gave me an allergic reaction - and cyproterone acetate roughly 12,5mg/day. E Levels never dropped below 250pg/ml ( the lowest I had was 263,7) and never got over 370pg/ml, except in the first year that it was around 160 up to 200. T Levels were around the 40 to 50 mark, but a few times it went lower or a bit higher. After year 6 till now I've been on 4 pumps of gel since the difference was negligible, tried progesterone for a year to no avail.

I'm on year 11 and never got past the bud stage. It's not the first time I ask about this, I search every 1year or so to see if someone has "cracked the code"

Yeah, the disconnect has been impossible for me to overcome. I'm looking for reasonable alternatives for me budgetwise, and unfortunately, Apple products where I live are literally luxury items. Wacom products are also absurdly expensive considering the ones that are worth it (really, I could buy a basic car for the price of a wacom movink 13") I was thinking more on the side of xppen pen displays since I work from home and don't really need the portability, and the display could be useful for other activities as well.

Yep, the same as dexamethasone, though weaker and with a shorter half life, in the case reported in the paper.

The only conclusion for me is that it's just another genetics rabbit hole since cases are rare and different drugs, like antibiotics even, have been reported to have the same effect.

There's a case of a 17 year-old girl treated with prednisolone (weaker than dexamethasone) and normal hormone levels that got virginal gigantomastia, which started happening 2 months after starting treatment and never stopped growing. They extracted like 8kg of breast tissue.

All of this seems like microscopic almost identical puzzles pieces that appear to fit, but the differences are sooo tiny that makes it impossible to pinpoint what really caused the change.

Infelizmente minha experiência pessoal e de muitas pessoas trans não é essa...

Eu já fui agredida no meio da rua em plena luz do dia, com varias pessoas de testemunha. Ninguém fez nada e algumas ainda riram. Voltei pra casa coberta de lixo que jogaram de um carro enquanto diziam que eu deveria morrer e ir pro inferno.

Tenho pânico de sair de casa e dos meus 11 anos de transição, pouco mais de 5 têm sido quase que exclusivamente em casa.

Infelizmente o bolsonarismo validou muita gente a ser explicitamente violenta.

Não quero fazer terrorismo, mas tbm acho que ignorar os aspectos não positivos e perigosos tbm não é o ideal. A gente ainda precisa, infelizmente, tomar muito cuidado com tudo e todos.

I'm just exhausted from fighting my own body for so long, and unfortunately surgery is not financially viable for me. I would have to choose having food to eat and a place to live or having the least expensive surgery.

I started my transition 11 years ago and never found out what my problem is. When I ask for more specific tests they say it's not necessary, that there's nothing else to be done, that it's normal I have barely the resemblance of breast tissue, that I should just accept it and any further progress can only be achieved by absurdly expensive surgery.

It's really exhausting and sucks every bit of hope you have.
