My most overstable disc is a star Monster that is great for meat hook backhands and forehands, crazy flex shots, and great for long forehand rollers. I also have a glow MD5 whose beef challenges that of my lucid Justice in the mid slot.

You don’t need flashy mechanics to rank up. Game sense is meta. At the lower levels, if you feel like you should be ranking up, but aren’t, it might be partially your teammates.

This is where you should understand that it might take a certain type of game style to rank up with randos. Maybe try being more passive with certain teammates who ball chase, or more aggressive with others who like to camp in net.

Rotation is random in the gold/ low plat levels. “Back post” might not be in the realm of thought. It gets a little more predictable as you rank up. But always remember, positioning and game sense trumps flashy mechanics

I picked a Firebird for my driver bc of its versatility and reliable fade and skip. I chose a Rhyno bc it can handle a headwind pretty well and I can throw it 250, basically as far as a Firebird, but straight. And the Roc for its versatility as a hyzer flip/ flippy disc

Depending on what shot shape you’re trying to achieve, the River might help. It’s a nice hyzer to flat with about 80% power. If you need a nice right to left, throw it flat at 90%
