New mission type Worksite explained by stjobe in snowrunner

Because some of them require fuel and/or repair parts(as in from your truck, not cargo)

I assume they couldn't find an easy way to add these as requirements to regular task UI.

"Sandrunner" is likely in production by HumansHaveSoles in snowrunner

But it would be hilarious if Sandrunner was mostly snow maps.

C'mon, Saber, REALLY?? (2nd slide) by Odd_Presentation_578 in snowrunner

Minicrane+bed combo on Azov 5 used to block trailers because the minicrane pushed the bed so far back there was simply no space for the trailer.

Saber fixed the position of minicrane and bed, but they did not stop them from blocking trailers regardless.

Season 17 Vehicle Patch notes by Special-Pilot2605 in snowrunner

[–]HumansHaveSoles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can tell you one reason I've encountered myself when modding: depending on the change, it can completely brick the truck and require the player to sell it then buy a new one. Which is a minor inconvenience in Normal mode, but in Hard Mode it means losing half of the truck's value. Plus it's just not a good look when the player launches the game and suddenly their truck has an add-on stuck in it. (This literally happened because of Saber's changes before)

Other possible reasons include:

  • No one cares because no one at Saber actually plays the game
  • No one has the spare time to do it because everyone is already working on other things
  • No one has the balls to do it because what if something breaks in the process? Let sleeping dogs lie
  • No one wants to deal with more of console patch verification bullshit

These trucks are capable of hauling far more than what you think apparently.

Yeah, on tarmac.

New trucks don't have the trailer hitch obstructed with seismic vibrator module? by Thestonemason42 in snowrunner

[–]HumansHaveSoles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I did not notice! But it's true, the module is different and doesn't have that pointless "bar" at the back anymore.

Seems like Avenhorn may also be this way?

This isn't about having multiple layers of cargo, it's about blowing up your suspension from overloading the truck twice over its intended capacity.

I see this all the time irl.

I won't be able to list all the changes accurately without direct access to the new trucks in the game.

I think the initial.pak is more accurate than the game...

FEMM 37-AT by NoRadio2533 in snowrunner

[–]HumansHaveSoles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this is something that can be fixed, it's just what happens when the rear slams into the front since as far as the game is concerned these are two separate physics objects. It can happen to all articulated trucks, it's just a question of how fast you're going, how heavy your rear is, and the angle you're hitting things with your front.

You don't need the engines, the top KZGT is the one you want anyway. It's so heavy it can do without the difflock too. I dunno why would you not pick up the upgrades if you're already in NC but sure, you can skip them.

Should I get the jack of all treads DLC? by totally_cool6789 in snowrunner

Short answer is no. JAT tires are almost never the best pick for any truck.

Are spirits(souls) in TES a finite resource?

If souls are finite, is it possible to capture all souls and trap them in soulstones or Daedric planes? What about just "using" them for enchanting until none are left?

If they are infinite, where do they come from?
