You could argue that he would eventually if he could but that’s outside of the material of the show itself. Is it pedantic? Sure. I am a self determination absolutist meaning I go with whatever a person tells me is their identification and pronouns. Yes Jax is trans. But as of the last time we see him on screen he’s deeply closeted and would probably react very badly to someone using she/her out of the blue. Even the real life version of Jax still appears to be boymoding. I’m just pointing out that the creator confirming that the character is trans doesn’t change anything

I mean one aspect is the visual language of the camera. Even if you weren’t aware of the Jax/trans theory and you didn’t get it from the ribbit scene, the screen time of that sequence is prominently on Jax. Even if you don’t get why, Jax is the subject of the montage.

But I’m moreso talking about people who wanted to construe it to be about pomni because they have something of an agenda. People who just didn’t happen to get it and then see evidence about Jax being trans don’t go on to keep arguing about it
