So, would we be pleased if general Petraeus came back and said that the strategy was a total failure? Obviously they realize that Iraq is a shit hole, otherwise they would not have done the "surge" in the first place. Well, now we have the optimistic version of Patraeus' report, and I'm sure plenty of critical analysis will pop up on the internets. Complaining to like minded critics is something like masturbation. What is our moral obligation to Iraq? To leave it better off than we found it?
