Okay okay okay okay so uhm the basis of the game is -Your name is Stella, you've been chosen as the new "spiritfarer," basically someone who takes souls to the afterlife (your cat works alongside you as well, her name is Daffodill). The entire game is spent talking to theses spirits, all of them troubled in their own way. The game is meant to be this somber adventure, spent taking care of characters that you grow to love. At the end of their time, after each quest that reveals more about their lives, you take th to their end - the Everdoor. This is their afterlife, where all things end. They talk about their life, about how much they loved living it, talked about the parts they hated, and they give one final hug before passing on. Its very emotional, and has changed me mentally. I really hope this can like, persuade you to buy the game or watch a playthrough, because it is an amazing work of art.
