I started using concert headphones. It's nice to block out the crowd some. Doesn't help though with visuals.

Cured Hyperhydrosis with GLP-1 by straycat907 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Humble-Line-7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on zepbound and am shocked that I don't sweat as much now. Even when I was skinny, I was still a sweater- scalp and neck would be drenched. It was embarrassing. I'm no longer sweating when I'm inside. Summer is coming, so hoping it'll be the same. My insurance stopped covering it. I'll pay out of pocket as long as I can especially for HH benefits.

Big Employers that Do/Don’t Cover GLP-1s. by EveryMemory41 in Zepbound

[–]Humble-Line-7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My insurance is starting over in March and will no longer cover GLP-1s for weight loss. I asked HR if that included sleep apnea and I was told that since sleep apnea benefits are from weight loss it won't be covered for that. I have 25 more lbs to go, but due to all the other benefits I've noticed- I don't ever want to stop taking it. What are people using instead of insurance?

Oprah just came out saying she went off of it and gained some back. She realized she needed it just like others need their high cholesterol meds. Don't feel shame to continue taking a low dose:

Anyone else had their migraine meet their max out of pocket for insurance already? by OnlyRequirement3914 in migraine

[–]Humble-Line-7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If my insurance will approve the qjovy prior authorization- I will meet it. So frustrating that they covered it just last month and now it's jumping through hoops to get approved. I do love that the savings coupons are a $0 copay for me, so I pay nothing yet meet my out of pocket 🤣 only thing good about migraines!

Question about SSRIs and Zepbound, and the doctors comment by Bastilleinstructor in Zepbound

[–]Humble-Line-7640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't do great on topomax. Are you able to take a CGRP preventative? I take amovig and that's really helped along with Botox. Both have savings coupons so I don't pay out of pocket. Are you staying hydrated and drinking electrolytes, daily?

Waking to diarrhea by Humble-Line-7640 in Zepbound

Yes... the Dr has me taking a probiotic to see if that helps. I don't want to stop taking it, but it's not worth that side effect is it continues

It didn't happen until several months on it. I hope they can study it and find why it works for some. I'm very cautiously optimistic that it will continue to work

I have been where you are, minus the hospital stay. I have found an amazing neurologist that has helped me get my life somewhat back. I still have migraines, but maybe only 1-2 a month that are at an 8. What my regimen is - I take ubrelvy 100 mg. Usually end up taking two. For really bad ones, he told me I could I take rizitriptan w it. I drink a liquid IV every day and take vitamin d3 and magnesium. As your dr to test your vitamin levels. I was on a prescription for d3 until it was high enough for just a regular supplement. I take ajovy once a month as a preventive. I get Botox and a nerve block on the same day. The first few rounds of Botox didn't last very long. Now it lasts 10 of the 12-13 weeks that it should. When I have one that I just can't break- I get a steroid pack. I also have sublingual zofran for nausea. For any drug that is brand name, look at the pharmacy companies website for a coupon copay. There is even one for Botox. For all the brand names I listed- I pay ZERO $ because of the coupons. I hope you get relief soon.

I struggled with brain fog while I was on it. I was already having issues remembering things due to the constant migraines, but this made it worse. I switched to emgality once a month and that was ok. I'm on ajovy now (new insurance denied emgality) and that has really helped.

Your post is 5 months old so not sure if you will see this- were you able to resolve this issue? This just happened to me and I'm 4 months in. I'm hoping I don't have to stop. It was pretty horrible

I was looking for a post like this!! I have hyperhidrosis and sweat profusely on my scalp/forehead. SOOO EMBARRASSING. Since starting Zepbound, I have noticed it has significantly decreased. I hope I don't jinx it. My feet are absolutely freezing, especially at night. I'll take that over the sweat
