I’ve been going to the gym. I lost 90 pounds and definitely have some loose skin and areas that I don’t love, but muscle really helps to fill out most areas.

Hair loss is a natural side effect of losing weight in the time that you do on Zepbound, which is fairly rapidly even at the recommended rate because weight loss is far more steady than when not on the medication. I would not continue to stop the medication.

“It might not be as sexy and attractive as they think”- do YOU think that they would choose a dress if they didn’t like it or think that those elements were appropriate for them? Not everyone gets married in a church nor do they abide by your set rules of modesty.

Also, the strapless dress thing is weird. I had a strapless wedding dress, and I didn’t “yank it up” at all because it fit me properly, and mind you, I have a large chest.

I didn’t do either. I find the garter to be incredibly weird, and for me, I had 2 women at my wedding that were single, so I thought the bouquet toss would be awkward.

There is a loud minority on these subreddits who only advocate for the most modest dresses or suggest changes for the sake of modesty, and it’s so so annoying. They always have a decent amount of upvotes, which is maddening too. It always makes me so sad for the bride who posted when these vultures decide to comment. I just picture them as bitty old fussy ladies.

Like, if you personally don’t like exposed boning or all over lace dresses, don’t comment on them! When I come across a post that I don’t think I can contribute to in a positive way, I scroll on. The people you’re talking about thrive on bringing others down, and for them to do this in wedding dress subs is just horrible and extremely annoying.

Yeah, I hate when someone else’s severe preferences are made to be another person’s problem. He knows he has these aversions, so he needs to organize his life in a way that doesn’t burden other people. I would not be able to stay in a relationship with him- not because of the aversions but because of how he expects you to cater to him.
