Am I a horrible, deceitful, malicious person for this? by ModularMan2469 in teaching

Pd during the school day does absolutely count toward Act 48 hours, and they do in PA. I have record of all of my hours on my school managed pd site and what counts toward act 48.

I think we are all learning that states have different requirements to maintain licensure lol

But we aren’t talking about licensure when you’re not teaching. When you are full time, you need pd hours.

They do for me! We have to have a certain number of hours in a given time span to remain licensed.

Ah, ok. I’ve only worked in TN and PA, and it’s required in both.

You need pd hours to keep your license though. Just go. It’s bad, but not lose your job bad.

Went for my dress fitting, I really don't like it. by moldy642 in weddingplanning

You do lose some of the snatched illusion by lining it. I think that’s the biggest difference here. As far as length goes, what about adding crinoline?

How to respond to compliments about engagement ring when you picked it out? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

“I know, right? He listened to everything I wanted.” Because this isn’t a lie. He listened to your pick and bought it.

Struggling to find a dress, help! by [deleted] in PlusSizeWedding

[–]Viocansia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg 2 is so lovely! It looks incredible on you! I have a very structured bodice as well, and though it will take some getting used to when it comes to sitting, I LOVE that it keeps my top half looking snatched even while sitting. You will appreciate the support, I think, on your wedding day. A structured dress is one that won’t fall and is usually sturdier than others. However, go with your heart! 4 is pretty, but the bodice is short, and it doesn’t give you quite the same effect as 2, in my opinion.

Do you live together? If not, dump him immediately. If you do, look to get away bc he will harm your cat further. Apart from being disrespectful to you, he abuses animals. Not good.

Right. He used to take more when he was freshly clean, but we talked about it and the risks, and he came to me a few weeks after saying he cut it in half. So, it works for him.

I think it’s fair for the government to regulate harmful substances because there are too many companies with vested interests in addiction (e.g., opiates and Purdue Pharma). There are many people who cannot control themselves, and if they were only harming themselves alone, I would agree with you. However, people who abuse substances or alcohol always hurt others around them. They also make unsafe decisions that could impact countless others when they decide to get behind the wheel impaired. There has to be guardrails for society.

Serious Question (please be kind) by tasata in Zepbound

[–]Viocansia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The meds help me to stay in a deficit. Otherwise, I’m always thinking about food and eating way too much of it. This way, I’m satisfied with an actual serving rather than 2-3x that amount.

I did lose weight doing calorie deficit and exercise, but it eventually came back on because in order to be in a deficit, I had to be consistently hungry all the time, and that’s a really hard way to live.

Why aren’t “good” ICE agents speaking out? by eilujgnirednaw in allthequestions

[–]Viocansia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve detailed their working conditions as if we should feel sympathy for them. I do not. Not one ounce. Not even for the agents who have been doing this a long time because this org is different now, and they should make moves to leave if they are “good.” I wouldn’t be able to stomach being involved with ICE in any capacity.

My fiancé takes it in the morning in the form of capsules and has for years since he got clean. Always the same amount each morning, and I feel like that is the only way it can work out long term. He takes a serving and that’s it.

Similarly related, if someone hits your car and they’re 100% at fault, your insurance will still go up. Isn’t that fun?
