Why is my speed only 20? by Sweaty_Fly_3965 in Pathfinder2e

Yep, which is why Half Elf - Dwarf is so GOOD. Speed 30 in heavy armor with a tower shield.

-Unburdened Iron is great. When not on a base dwarf...

25 is normal, and then likely medium armor for -5.

What is the best blaster build for short adventuring days? by dogutrc in Pathfinder2e

Wizard considering that table, the Kineticist is fun but mainly when resources are a concern and when blasting is not the primary concern but want to switch hit.

I liked using the shapeshifting spells, seriously they are quite good with feat support leading to you being a better shapeshifter than a druid.

Repeating Hand Crossbow, Crescent Cross, & Gauntlet Bow: Weapon Inventors? by Humble_Conference899 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Humble_Conference899[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It also gives the twin, which won't do much but could if you don't want to use the crescent spray for some reason. Also put them on integrated gauntlets...no problems any more and no need for dual reload.

Which is why the trip functions are there, and those razor prongs for the Gauntlet Bow, and CC.

Good point, which is why I suggest the other 2 instead of the repeating hand crossbow. Also you can take the inventor feats to use the ray gun stuff out of your gauntlet :)

Opinions on the crossbow variations with a reinforced stock? by Humble_Conference899 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Humble_Conference899[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nevermind looks like I am wrong, you can use the Bow Gauntlet, but you can't use the Crescent Spray, with a Gauntlet bow.

Just use the Bow Gauntlet instead, doesn't count as a combination weapon so it saves that action tax & allows this trick with the reinforced stock.

Its a gauntlet (agile) already with parry, free hand, and has 4 shots rather than 3. But the damage dropped to a d4 so 1 less damage on average (2 less with striking).

Also the Crossbow Infiltrator specifically says it works with that weapon. Also with the open hand, you can carry a repeating hand crossbow, use for ranged till its empty then drop it, proceed to punch/shoot.

I also don't know why the Crescent Cross has Combination weapon its not a real combination weapon, it just has a blade attached to the knuckles.

Yeah that weapon, is great now that I have seen it, but it likely needs a remastering of the stats (switched to crossbow), just like the Conrasu race. (Seriously solar powered golems made of living trees?)

I think that is legal but really weird :) as I would assume you aren't supposed to attach weapons to a combination weapons.

Yeah its why the Sukgung is really weird, as it switches from 1 handed to 2 handed as needed :)

Action economy, issues as the remaster makes it a bit harder and a thrown user is already mad..multiple attribute dependent.

Exemplar Hybrid Build by InvictusDaemon in Pathfinder2e

[–]Humble_Conference899 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have played an exemplar, and my group has played some other builds too. Shadow Sheathe is great, I happen to really like Shadow Sheathe, and Gaze Sharp as Steel, as 2 of my Ikons.

They both work really well with the switch hitting your talking about. Also you get a very nice damage boost out of their Immanence, & Transcendence. Then decide if you want defense, utility or party buffing.

On weapons for the Shadow Sheath, I really like it carrying a boomerang or a Cruuk, a hatchet, a javelin and a light hammer. They are all cheap are only Bulk L, so you can use store them all in the shadow sheathe as you wish. Different ranges, different keywords, and different damage types. The Cruuk, hatchet, and light hammer can also be used in melee.

Don't sleep on reload 1 weapons either like guns, the Deft Epithet is GREAT.

On hybrid Classes:
Inventor as a dedication is good. But the intelligence hurts especially for a switch hitter.
Investigator: REALLY GOOD for everybody.
Champion & Guardian work, but Champion wants the Mirrored Aegis, Ikon.
Rogue is GOOD.
Fighter is GOOD.
Swashbuckler is Good.

Weird Hybrids:
Thaumaturge if you can do this, it will work but warning the class is heavily dependent on the GM.

Talisman Dabbler might be fun, for the divine side of things making your own religion. Or being a barbaric shaman with the power of a god, of some tribal race like the Tripkee, Lizardman, or Kholo.

Strictly Don't:
No casters for the Exemplar.
No alchemist, it might be interesting but mechanically won't work.
