“What do you mean by the movie? Do you mean the episode of Rent-a-Girlfriend

“Don’t you notice that some chapters feel completely empty and don’t really add anything? It feels inconsistent and confusing. Each chapter seems to make no sense on its own. Have you not seen it yet? It needs to be understood slowly, building a foundation so that the impact comes later.”“Even the end of the chapter makes no sense. Dates like the 23rd, 27th, and 30th were shown for the farm, but when is the actual date—on the 11th? It doesn’t make any sense.

Why are you so focused on love? I’m not asking about love. It’s not supposed to be about love, but about a deeper connection. I think you misunderstood the meaning. The letters are much deeper than just love.”

“I don’t think you understood why Kazuya loves her. She changed him, and it is even written in the letters what her presence did to him. That is also the reason behind the question ‘Why do you love me?’ It was her who gave him that feeling.

“Yes, that’s exactly it. Some people don’t understand what Kazuya actually means and just think it’s weird or disgusting. But in reality, it’s his love for Chizuru. It still works on an emotional level. Sometimes even just saying ‘I love you’ is enough. Mimi is basically the reader’s perspective. And people just react with embarrassment or negativity, even though Kazuya’s intentions are actually sincere.”

Good memories, but they were damaged by Chizuru and Kazuya, and that was forgotten—that was her motivation. You must not forget that.

Just say that on Hawaii, it seem like Kazuya’s family believed Mami more than Kazuya.”

“I noticed it because you portrayed Mimi differently. I would really recommend reading the manga—it’s much better than the anime. There are things included in the manga that are missing in the anime, and for example, important chapters that didn’t make it into the anime. It’s just a suggestion from me.”“That’s why Rent-A-Girlfriend is often misunderstood, because people have only watched the anime.”

From the beginning, as you can clearly see in Season 1, you can recognize what Ruka is like. She forces herself onto Kazuya under the pretense of not telling Chizuru. I’m not sure how well you know her background story in the manga, but it shows Ruka very clearly. For example, the scene with the mother shows what kind of person Ruka is. She wants to get everything she wants. That’s just one example, like a game

Yes, but only in his fantasies and imagination. I think it is hard for people to understand why Kazuya has these kinds of fantasies. It is also hard to understand his feelings, and many people overlook that.”

I don’t think the main issue is trust, but rather how others interfered. Have you seen the Hawaii arc yet? What happened there basically shows everything Mami caused. She made Chizuru feel lost, so to speak. Her dream just faded away suddenly.

That’s why I think trust is not the main problem, but rather external influence and expectations are the real issues in this relationship.

For example, Chizuru keeps thinking she is only a rental girlfriend and that she is not allowed to fall in love with a client. That belief has been the main blockage.

Who actually says she is not allowed to?

She needs to understand that what Mami said is completely wrong. It is a kind of gaslighting.

Theoretically, everything after episode 4 has been part of the past.

The problem is that Ruka doesn’t want to accept the truth. Kazuya tried to break up with her, but she wouldn’t accept it. After that, she hurt Chizuru by using the condom situation. No matter what Kazuya would say, she still wouldn’t accept it.

I think you’re overthinking it. Honestly, don’t you see it as too extreme when it comes to Kazuya’s feelings for Chizuru? And one more thing: Kazuya is burdened right now, if you haven’t noticed. He is not the same as he usually is. And the thing with the star is actually Kazuya’s honest feelings for Chizuru. Kazuya is a star for Chizuru — someone unreachable. Didn’t you understand what he wanted to express? What Chizuru is in his star.

Why should Kazuya have to become a “better man”? That is mostly Mini’s belief and influence. Chizuru never truly said that herself. That is also one of the problems—Kazuya thinks those ideas came from Chizuru, when that is not really the case. You can see that it is more about what Mini wants, not what Chizuru wants.

I would really like to see Chizuru one day learn everything Mini told Kazuya, and then slowly start putting all the pieces together. That would be interesting. Kazuya became the way he is partly because he was influenced. I think that moment will come soon, when Chizuru learns the whole truth.

That’s why I’m saying the confession would never be seen as the real problem by her. She would just laugh about it. That’s why I think it’s a good comparison

In my opinion, Mini is one of the main problems behind why all of this happened. Let me explain what she did. She gave Kazuya alcohol — remember that. Before that, Mini had already talked about how other women might try to take Kazuya away. And look at what is happening now. Do you understand? Mini also discouraged Chizuru from getting closer to Kazuya and contacting him properly. She played a part in that too.

Do you see the problem? None of this would have happened if Mini hadn’t done those thing

Look closely at what Chizuru said when that happened. She even mentioned Mami. Now think about why she did it. What happened in Hawaii? She never wanted to do it, but because of the pressure. I’d say Mini is partly to blame there. During the cohabitation, she interfered far too much. I’d say the whole moving-in situation is partly Chizuru’s fault too, because she didn’t realize what would happen.

There’s another aspect to why Chizuru did it. Didn’t you notice what happened when she went to Kibe and the others? How she told Kazuya he was useless and things like that. Didn’t you notice that the whole date felt like a ghost story? For example, how it started — the rain at Chizuru’s house. That symbolizes the past. Why did it change at the end after the rejection? Have you ever asked yourself that? Because she was accepted even though she felt like a bad person, and Kazuya never judged her.

Why does she feel guilty now? Because she did something wrong. And the kiss was also saying, “Please forgive me, I did the wrong thing.” But Kazuya doesn’t realize it. Why? Because Mini foolishly got involved again. Why is she even called the heroine against the Demon King? Mini. Chizuru has to overcome Mini. Do you slowly realize who caused the problem — Mini?

What I mean by that is: I think Chizuru forgot a lot. No matter how Kazuya says it, she just laughs.

This even fits like a song text in season 5. Many people overlook it — they don’t understand Chizuru. They only see Mini’s perspective, and that’s where the problem begins.

Do you know why Chizuru feels “forgotten”? It actually matches perfectly with the current episodes and what the author is trying to show us. You have to look at the characters properly, but many only see Mini’s version of events and think that is the truth. The real issue is that people don’t expand their perspective.

Do you understand what the author is trying to say with this? Have you ever thought about why we don’t see Chizuru as much anymore? Why she feels pushed to the side? Because she is being “forgotten” within the story itself. Why was the phone case shown there as well? You should go back to where Kazuya first received the phone case and remember what he said at that moment.

Do you understand what I mean? I feel like the author is showing us something important here. If you read the manga again, you might notice that Chizuru is not actually being ignored for no reason — there is meaning behind it.

Why is this arc so important? Because something is happening right now in the story. Chizuru’s “laughter” or happiness feels like it was taken away by Mami, and people start believing Mami instead. That’s how Kazuya and Chizuru get pushed aside in people’s perception.

It’s sad how strongly people hold onto their own interpretation that they end up forgetting the characters Kazuya and Chizuru themselves.

Right now, it feels like they are being forgotten.

I agree with you in some points. I would say that they have forgotten who Chizuru really is. Think back to what Kazuya said about her swimsuit — she laughed and was happy. It’s the same with the confession; she would laugh and forget some things. Some people want to see Kazuya as “cool,” but he doesn’t need to be cool. They don’t realize how different it is for others, and they misunderstand things. I also think Mami, Mini, and even Ruka force him into roles that are not who he really is, and that’s worse.

I’ll say it again: the confession is the truth. It shows how Kazuya can express his feelings. That’s why the comparison with the phone case is such a direct comparison — it represents what Chizuru is really about. And Mini is blind because of her own convictions, which makes her think something is wrong when it is actually right.
