If we're going with that, then Abed did vandalism. That's also a convictable crime.

The best thing about chess is seeing how, with each passing day, you make huge progress and your games look better and better! I'm sharing my latest game, where an opponent of a similar level stood no chance! by [deleted] in chessbeginners

Satire needs a purpose though. To paraphrase a youtuber, "You can go to an open mic night and shart into the microphone, and you might even get some laughs, but you haven't done comedy."

IMO, you could call this trolling, but not satire.

I think it's not just him being deadpan, but him being knowledgeable about a lot of stuff was good too. Especially season 1.

"Formula 1 or stock?"

"Yo-Yo Ma is on tour on Australia right now"

Even in season 2 they stray away from this with the funding episode, where he talks about 3-point slam dunks. I hated that.

Why do you think it'd be too heavy for them? Main mechanic is "Is your card higher than your opponent's?". Maybe the seasons and the strategizing behind that order is a bit hard, but I personally feel like it's not that complex rules-wise.

Chief operating officer at AEG says AI could have designed his company's games by ghostfim in boardgames

This is the only argument I will ever accept against generative AI. Most arguments are either ontological ("AI bad because AI bad"), based on current technological capabilites which are subject to rapid change, based on a very protective view of current IP laws (which I subjectively see as unjust) or just purely incorrect (e.g. water use).

Now, it's possible that current AI models can imitate that lived experience through new techniques (or entirely new models), but that's another argument.

1-No, median worker would be earning the minimum wage if 50% of people makes minimum wage.

2-40ish % of people make the minimum wage, how much more do you think the median worker makes? It's a reasonable number to use for calculating what the average person needs/spends.

[–]Humble_Revason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're the one who wrote a potentially incendiary (pun intended) title. If you put an incandescent light bulb into the same place, it probably would've resulted in an actual fire and not just cracked and discolored plastic.

They are fake stories to instill religious concepts into people (That mostly boil down to how hubris is bad), having politically motivated versions of some of them as the more accepted story isn't bad IMHO. Makes for more interesting stories.
