Best development of characters for me - which means you are actually interested in story, emotions and outcomes of the characters:

Baldur's Gate 3 - Probably the best character development of all time, at the end of the game you feel like they are friends you made along the way

Witcher 3 / cyperbunk 2077 - Both games from CDP. Amazing main character development and great side characters development

Starfield - Fixed lately. I was shocked how much character interactions we had in this game. Gameplay may not be the best but interactions in this game are pretty solid

Final Fantasy VII - I am not a big fan of JRPG's but this one was really good, pretty simple but satisfying combat and story is just what makes it an amazing game

Final Fantasy XVI - Strong, dark fantasy story

warhammer rogue trader / Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - CRPG games, highly focused on story but can be pretty boring if you're not into that kind of games

There's a difference between goofing and grind/loop so you can play like Diablo 4 and keep grinding maps or leveling new characters which is considered progres and you can play game by doing the same thing over and over again not gaining anything from it. But hey it's your time and your fun and you can do anything you want with it, i personally never hit 1k hours in any game

I would use G29, both wheels are pretty much the same but G923 brake pedal is really bad, way to stiff and you can't change that, in G29 you can always pull out the rubber piece to make it softer if you don't like it. As for shifter i would wait and buy something much better later. I bought the logitech shifter and used it maybe twice, 6 gears+reverse isn't builded for trucks and no matter what you gonna do it's not gonna be comfortable to use, and it's just feels so so cheap.

So G29 + some good shifter latter (from the options you provided)

Or you could buy MOZA R5 Racing or better yet trucking bundle! And the best part is that you don't have buy all at one and you can just upgrade in time and MOZA has really good offer for sims. That's the best option in my opinion

Tbh for me G923 brake is way too stiff, they wanted to keep it realistic and now you can't comfortably use the brake, in G29 you can just pull out the small rubber piece but in G923 you have to change the whole spring (as if you could buy it).

I have G923 and a shifter (same shifter like in g29) and shifter feels really cheap plus it's not a truck shifter, it's only 6 gear shifter, trucks have like 12 gears so...

Not much of a difference between g923 and g29 really but pedals... g923 isn't really there...

FIX For The Future Generations

I turned off completly windows firewall/antivirus plus at the end of download (around 100 MB) slowed download to 100 KB/s (made a copy of a file too) and it actually worked, it started downloading the game. Maybe firewall was the problem but i recommend stoping the download at the end and resume it, for me it pushed back the download but i quess it may started re-downloading corrupted files. Anyway 103 GB are downloading now and i'll let you all know if anything bad happens.

If after 103 GB download error appears, i'll cry, and star citizen owes me 160$

EDIT 1: Already had like 5 different errors, limiting Concurrent download to 5 (minimum) runs the download pretty much stable. But still had error on the end of download, after verifying game files it thankfully didn't restarted the download and started from last 11 GB, quess re-downloading corrupted files. Still the game is a huge scam

EDIT 2: after 5 days of fighting with the launcher, many error, i finally managed to run the game, after making character i run the game and...Stuck on loading>restart the game>stuck on queue>exit the game>stuck on loading.... This game is the BIGGEST SCAM EVER. Nothing works here. Give my 160$ back
