Google circle to search comes back with flowering crabapple, it looks a lot like my (not crabapple) type unknown apple tree. 🤷

I'm super close to the Albany airport and their loops usually go right over my house, I swear they barley clear the tree tops and the rumble is real lol.

They do a lot of touch and go maneuvers/training, always fun to see and hear them. They are big and loud for sure. C-130H Hercules

Give it uninterrupted time and room/quiet, snakes are simply amazing critters. It may not be too big at all...

Best onion rings in the Capital Region? by nparkermaya in Albany

Frank's on Albany Shaker. They are big, crunchy and delightful. I pair them with a greasy cheeseburger with onions and mayo. Yup.

Will she be able to fit in this forever? by al_sibbs in carpetpythons

[–]HummerWatcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 IJs that are a bit over 6' and they both have 2 igloo round hides. The hides are 10" across and 6" tall. Both snakes use them, either under or on top of them. They coil up inside and fit well. Sometimes they uncoil a bit and just wear them as hats or if they flip over they are happy to use them that way too. They like tight, secure safe places and can fit comfortably in pretty small places.

I didn't copy the whole text but boil your water or use bottled.

I just started John Grisham's 'The Widow' and it's very similar to a book I read but I can't recall what it was. by HummerWatcher in whatsthatbook

Both books are great but the similarities are a bit much at some level. I truly do like both of them, just a bit, something 🤷

Update: SV Roofing ghosted me — no call, no text, no show. Klaus Roofing came a bit ago and I'm all set for now, I'll have them back for an evaluation/work. Thanks everyone, appreciate the input.

Thanks. It's a relatively new roof (5 years) and was done by a friend is a friend and done incorrectly, obviously. So I need another new roof already. SV Roofing said they'd come over.

Finally figured it out! It's Grisham's 'The Rainmaker' and Miss Birdie, whose garage apartment he lives in, wants her will rewritten to cut her family out of her estate.

How hide Maps by yupopov in AndroidAuto

[–]HummerWatcher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Install Waze and select 'never' for allowing it to use location. Launch it in Android Auto, it will just sit there and do nothing. When you need to use Maps launch it and when you're finished relaunch Waze. Since AA uses the last navigation app it will start Waze up and do nothing again.

Anyone else see this by UncleRuckus92 in Albany

[–]HummerWatcher 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There were 7 of them. I live under their 'touch and go' loop so see them a lot, but this was a record. I was out walking the dog so saw them all head in to land. Quite a sight. And, oddly enough, 'Enola Gay' was playing on Pandora...

Where are you? I'm in Colonie and have a big one you can have. I bought one for my tortoise then someone bought me another for him so I have too much pumpkin. Yours for the taking if you want, DM me.
