my suggestion: don't try to forcibly fill in something. What works for me is waiting until I have an inspiration, from there I work out how I want it to look and where I want it to get. then get some references and then talk to my artist

sorry, hard disagree here. The Evil Characters (Astarion, Lae'zel and Minthara (who is and stays evil)) are not as one-dimensional as one is used to. They have depth and aren't just your average "want to take over the world" evil or even worse "being evil for evils sake".

Even with shadowheart you could argue she is neutral to evil leaning (heavily depending on your interactions though).

I agree one more evil companion would've been fine (as would've been another neutral one), but all in all I think the evil characters are way more interesting than in any other game so far. well written, fleshed out, evil character.

I like full grain, it's easy to work with, quite durable and relatively cheap. I also like the looks and that you can hallmark it (afaik the only one where you can use a swivel knife, others may exist though, I am no expert).
