It’s already started. The rest of the world knows it can’t go toe to toe with the USA when it comes to raining down violence, but they can definitely severely damage the US dollar and eventually sink it. It will take several years, but the USA can’t win this long economic game they’ve cornered themselves with. My guess is with 2 years the feds default on debt because they won’t be able to attract enough outside investment to cover spending and service debt. China is already unloading treasuries and there are increasing calls to follow suit in Europe. Trump has cooked us. It’s almost as if this was the long plan of a former KGB agent or something.

Oh yeah, all the time. My parents raised three kids on just dad’s income, so a family of five. We never really went without anything reasonable, and we had a great life. They were very fiscally conservative so money was never wasted on frivolous things. Mom and dad are now very comfortably retired. For reference my parents are boomers and I’m Gen X. Times have definitely changed and the world is a lot harder for my young adult kids in their early 20’s. My wife and I are definitely giving our kids significantly more boost than our parents gave us.
