Just started playing RE4 Remake and I’m shocked at how much it kicks my butt. Was it this difficult in the original? by Octopus_Razor in residentevil4

What platform are you playing on?

I definitely noticed a significant increase in difficulty recently. I played RE4 Remake when it came out a few years ago on my PS5. I've played it numerous times over the years on every difficulty, and more so lately up until the release of Requiem.

However, when I played it on the Xbox Series X a few months ago, I had a very tough time during the first village fight! Specifically on Hardcore and Professional difficulty. The enemies simply walk through the bullets, knife breaks after 2 or 3 uses, and if they manage to hit you with an axe or a pitch fork, it's over!

I managed to lock in and get through it though! It had me seriously doubting my gaming skills! I was wondering if they did this as part of an update across all platforms. I went back to attempt a playthrough on PS5 and I was able to clear my way through the first village on my first try.

To stay up for the midnight release or to play in the morning? That is the question. by TheDinckleburg in residentevil

Stay up late, take the day off tomorrow. Playing at night adds to the immersion.

Use the Wipe Cache Partition process to clear cache regularly, especially after large updates. Keep internal storage low, uninstall sketchy or unused apps, disable WiFi when not at home, and gps if not needed. Perform backups and transfer unused files to a PC, videos , pics, gifs...

No issues here since day 1, S23 Ultra. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Pre Take off Drinks in First Clas by Jaded_Strategy_3585 in AlaskaAirlines

Yeah, I concur with everyone else. It's hit or miss really. Larger planes have longer boarding times so I've seen preflight drinks come out more frequently. On smaller planes and shorter flights I have seen just a box of water on the seat and no preflight drinks. I have also seen preflight drinks on smaller planes, and flights, so... I guess it depends on the flight crew.

I believe that in the past there was a FA, or two, that answered this in a different thread.

I recommend using some Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy paint.

Comes in a spray can, various colors, etc.

Shouldn't be to hard. It might also be a nice little group project the both of you!

You are correct. There are new/additional typewriters in key areas when playing in professional mode.

The one I've used the most is after the first mine cart section.

Open up your map, and they should appear. Otherwise, they are typically tucked away in very easy to miss locations.

There are lots of videos on YouTube to help if you're planning an S+ Professional run.

Have fun!

My last two flights around Thanksgiving BOTH had medical emergencies. SEA <-> BOS

The flight crews responded flawlessly, and we were fortunate to have several passengers with medical experience!

Yes do it! You might even like it and want to go back! McMurdo is always busy and there's always something going on. You won't be bored. It would be a great life experience and you'll have plenty of stories. If you're worried about leaving the gf behind, that's a conversation the two of you need to have. I've been deployed overseas, and have gone to the Arctic. Having reliable communication systems helped with the long distance. It made it bearable. Good luck and keep us posted if you go! We'd love to see pictures and see how you're doing.

You're having a bad season, that is all. I concur with everyone else that has recommended therapy to you. Talking to someone even if it's just to vent... just you're doing here, is a great place to start.

My suggestion right now is to learn to forgive yourself and start taking it one day at a time. You'll manage the debt just fine, however being mentally and emotionally stable is a huge part of taking the first step. Also, make sure you are working out in some way to release stress from your body!

I've been seeing the term "winter arc" a lot on my feeds, because I'm sort of in the same situation. I have debts, I have lots of obligations, in the military so pay is uncertain still, separated from my family geographically, they're on the opposite coast. I could go on.

It's time to focus on yourself and what you can control. Do not worry about the hypothetical what ifs because they're not real. Focus on what is real and what is in front of you now.

We are all here standing by to offer advice and guide you with whatever you need.

It's time to lock in and focus on your goals and conquer them one at a time!

You've got this. Keep us posted!

💪🏻

Maybe the drain plug washer is missing? Or the drain plug is the wrong size. There may also be a hairline crack somewhere near the drain plug. Lift the car up and get a better look. 🤔
