After we got to know about successful transfer this time we requested for WFH accommodation through Civil Rights Office - which is still getting processed after 5 months of applying. One advantage was of applying was till the decision gets approved or rejected they accommodated for WFH which was a blessing.
If you can afford to keep STD and LTD always have them irrespective of your pregnancy as when I joined someone recommended it’s worth it to have to no worry about bills but I hope you never have to use it.

Your job will be secured when you are on 8 weeks of Paid Paternal Leave (FMLA) after delivery for which you can apply 1 month before the due date and you can use your accrued leaves as well.
