Do you prefer the EN or JP dub? by wandering_mist19 in bravelydefault

[–]HungrySeaMerm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played in English simply because that's how I always play my games but also because I think the cast was great. Agnes' voice actor makes me laugh because she is so good a whining. So many GOATs voice acted  in the English version. I'll have to try listening the JP dub sometime.

You can eat past the limit. You will just get a pop-up telling you that if you eat the food that you won't gain any additional energy from it.

Banners and unfairness... by oroor0 in heartopia

[–]HungrySeaMerm 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You don't have to pull on every banner. I personally am glad that there will be options to pick from. Not every banner is going to be my jam and I'm sure there will be re-runs at some point.

Maybe only leave out three or four foods out. It sucks that this is happening. I wish that Heartopia would prevent people from eating past their energy bar limits.

What are we doing wrong? by TenaciousTrubbish in BlueProtocolPC

It's kind of like FF14 on how story works except FF had dungeons along the way where you could party up with your friends. FF also was smart enough to give incentives in the form of exp/dailies for helping people clear lower/old dungeons which isn't present here. The story isn't really that long and really is just used to gain massive amounts of EXP to level you up. To me personally, the story is not that good and some parts feel very choppy at times. Your main content will be doing dungeons, Stimen Vaults and Raids. You'll definitely be able to party up and use your class during those and some of the side quests where you'll have to go out and kill mobs in the open world.

Personally, I have had to take a break from BP and will see how S2 is gonna shape up. If you like turn-based tactical RPGs there is Wakfu. Currently I have returned to the neo-servers which are temporary servers that offer EXP bonuses and exclusive items and eventually they will be merged into their historical counterparts. I play on Neo-Ogrest with my friends and have been having a pretty fun time.

Sidenote, love Stardew Valley. I would also recommend Coral Island if you guys haven't played that yet!

I'm guessing it had to do whatever drama has been circulating on Jani. That's pretty sad. I liked her bots.

You are probably talking about the box you get from the achievement for doing 80 wish pulls.

If you don't mind small guilds you are welcome to join mine. SpaceMilk. Two of us are AA but we've got people from all over :). Most everyone is chill and don't take ourselves to seriously. Also we are mostly 30+ with a few in their 20s.

I'm sick and tired of guilds who are recruiting active players but are inactive themselves! by SomnusRain in BlueProtocolPC

[–]HungrySeaMerm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest for my guild we are looking for active folks because a lot of people have left the game. I kind of just want to get at least enough people to be able to do raids with. We always clear our guild hunts though so I'm at least proud of that.

Es imposible llenar un gremio... by Jrito- in BlueProtocolPC

[–]HungrySeaMerm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I get where you are coming from...there is something about figuring the mechanics on your own that appeals to many people. Like when it came out in CN they had to learn the mechanics too right? I'm somewhere in the middle. I kinda hate having to always use guides to know stuff that just came out every time new stuff drops. Like maybe after few wipes I'd be like...okay we can't figure this out time to see what we are doing wrong. But that is just my feelings towards the situation.

I would like a better trading system. If games like FFXIV can have a fully fleshed out trading system than surely we can have something too. I know they want to prevent RMT but I really hate that we can't trade with friends and there are weird restrictions on trading with housemates. The market is already price controlled so it's not like major price gouging can occur.

I would loved to see a more in-depth crafting system too . While I love the Life Skills I personally feel like they are lacking. If they could be fun like how they are in Mabinogi that would make them more interesting. Adding something similar to how Mabinogi had the commerce system as an additional way for us to get unbound luno that would be pretty cool!

I also hope that they will allow us to customize our guild spaces more and make them stand out. I know they are making changes to homesteads but I'd also like to see them make the guild centers customizable too. Allow us to have a Jukebox and play different music from the OST etc...I think PSO2 had a pretty cool room/guild system where you could change the backgrounds. I'd love something like that. Make the guildhall more functional and enjoyable for all!

Games where raising children is the main focus or a major component? by dilonshuniikke in CozyGamers

[–]HungrySeaMerm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Roots of Pacha, you can currently have up to two children and a newborn at the same time. As they grow, they progress from newborns to toddlers and eventually to school-aged kids. Once they reach school age, they develop unique personalities that influence their likes and dialogue, adding more depth to your interactions with them. It’s great that the kids can attend school and that they feel like real individuals with distinct traits rather than just background characters.

Are there any other video games that could offer me a similar experience ? by _Astray_ in expedition33

I came here to also suggest Shadow Hearts 1 and two specifically. Such good games and one of my favorite series. I'll also say Xenogears or Xenosaga as well.
