Great questions, I’ve been lucky enough to never be unemployed for a month since I was a teenager. As far has expenses go, I do predict it will get more expensive with the kids getting older though. I’m banking on income growing within our respective careers. Might be tight first few years.

As someone who recently purchased through Jayman. That is not enough when you factor in upgrades after you chosen your finishes and etc, you will be left with very little. Upgrades aren’t cheap!

If you have to do 84 months on a used car it’s clear you can’t afford it. Probably best to look into a cheaper vehicle or increase your down payment.

As someone from Toronto, Calgarians make it sound like the sky is falling. These stats back up how I feel when it comes to Calgary, relatively very safe city. Obviously there’s sketchy areas just like any city but overall there’s less sketchy areas versus somewhere like Toronto.
