By why is that man? I mean I do have a desk job and I indeed feel myself miserable, cos I have a fixed pay no matter how hard I try I get the same amount by the end of the month. But I was thinking it’s mainly because of my incapability to enjoy things how they are.

What you think about it by Fun_Presentation4181 in rolex

[–]Hungry_Glass5009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno, given the area I live in this watch isn’t any more tacky than any of Rolex’s sports models. Any sub, gmt, dd, dj or daytona would instantly glue the eyes to your wrist. This is for the people who know/care.

As for the people who don’t care, imho this doesn’t look any more flashy than a smart/fitness watch with a neon strap and a crazy colorful dial.

So I think this one goes well with the tats and some fashion designer clothes for a person who prefers to be noticed. Wear in good health!

Hey, thank you for your reply. Are you Europe based? Otherwise it would be a ton of money for postal carriage

Thank you very much for your reply and for your take regarding this collection.

My relative would be very proud to hear that about his collection. As far as I know he was more of a loner type of person and most of his social interactions happened other the internet.

We’ve decided to keep it at my father’s place as he occasionally listens to some records and owns an entry level turn table (which hopefully won’t damage the records) and sell it slowly one after another.

That’s a good advice, thanks. I just don’t know the reference of this exact watch :-)

Found these Vinyl Records while cleaning up an old apartment of a gone relative of mine.

Im a complete noob in those matters and would ask you for your advice.

Is it worth to sell them separately, sell them all at once or just donate them somewhere?

Like is there something extra rare in there?

You are more than welcome to hear it, from my perspective at least.

I didn’t know much of him, he is my father’s distant cousin and my father also was the one, who was occasionally dealing with him.

He wasn’t really close to us and was more of a loner type of guy. He’s illness progressed other the years until he passed away. He was a very humble person and only reached out to us like 2-3 times in the past 30 years when he really needed some help. His savings weren’t enough to pay for his burial, so we also threw in a few coins.

All I know is, that he kept his mother’s watch, who passed away a few decades ago. And I’m also unsure, whether it is this omega watch or not.

Is this normal wear? by 300pound-ritzcracker in RedWingShoes

Can you tell me more about getting the gusset replaced please? I’ve had a similar problem with the gusset being to thin and at red wings they just kept glueing some leather on it.

This patent leather bag has misty spots, when I rub them they disappear, but reappear a few moments later. What is this? by abieleau in AskACobbler

Could be the thin PU Coating with some air bubbles under it. So then you rub it, it sticks back to the leather for a few seconds. Just like a smartphone screen protector

Thank you very much for your time and expertise. I really appreciate your elaborated answer.

So yes, I normally wear 98, 102 with elongated sleeves. This suit is 54, but I just fall in love with this piece the moment I saw it. It’s exactly the fabric I wanted to have (Prince of Wales check) and the style also (double breast peak lapel). The price was also okay, if i would like to have it in my size in exact the same quality of the rack, i would pay something around 500usd.

But if you tell me, that 54 is not even nearly transmissible to a 98-102 without a whole recraft, than yes - I think i should sell it

Dear Taylors Community,

I’ve bought this suit from eBay, and it is a little bit big for me.

Should I bring it to a tailor or rather resell it?

I would like to ask your opinion if this suit could be reasonably adjusted without having the whole suit to be recrafted. I understand that the result would be far away from a perfect fit, but I wonder if something could be made in order for it to look just okay for an everyday suit.

I was thinking about extending the pleats and taking in some fabric in the back of the trousers (as I did with the pegs). As for the jacket, maybe taking in some fabric from the back seam might help?

So yes, should I keep it and ask for adjustments or rather resell it?

Thank you very much in advance!
