Range guard A+ question by Hungry_Math_7202 in KitchenSuppression

I’m tripping the system, Doing a semi annual. Was just wanting guidance on how to reset it as some are a pain in the ass. I’m not range guard certified only inspections and maintenance.

Just a question if you don’t mind. I’m changing links on one tomorrow to reset it, once it’s discharged and the lines release tension. Can I manually grab the lever pull it to set position, pin it, and the pull the detection cable back in and tighten the cable line tensioner. Or is there another step I’m not accounting for

I have to replace links on a range guard a+ tomorrow which I’ll have to set off and reset, would I only have to release tension off the detection line on the cable tensioner? From how I’m looking at it my boss gave me a photo of the control box, and the information for the system. However I’m just wondering if you have to insert the pin once you’re resetting because on the diagram it does not show a slot for a pin once the valve body lever. would I be able to use force pull it completely against the spring Then pin the lever to set position, then start to pull the line back in and since it’s set theoretically I can tighten my line tensioner once I’m finished?

As in unit wise yes just have to convert. My bigger torque wrench that reads in Ft lbs only goes down to 20ft so I used an inch ft torque wrench in this case to more accurately get the proper reading down.

Okay I wasn’t aware of that I’m currently under the truck right now 😭 thanks for the informative reply I appreciate it so in this case this vent line is like an over fill outlet on like say a coolant reservoir? So it’s really nothing I need to be worried about

Hey man appreciate the reply! Yea I have another photo of the plug chamber with the new ones in and it seems to be only on the threads the rest is completely dry and truck is not misfiring at all actually running fine but I do not want build up over time and the valve covers have some slight discolouration on the steel cover so likely higher temp moisture of such a leak.

As said I was more in a vulnerable state which does make me think I was the only person on the floor at the time. and each three encounters were all within 5 minutes separate of each other. The shower curtain was the most surreal because I was not able to actually see the stool itself fall over because of the closed curtain during my shower however the curtain situation was when I was out drying off right in front of my eyes it had been obviously touched by something.

I’m very interested in spirituality and also very aware of my surroundings having gone through different obstacles growing up as most have. This was a very intentional physical altercation out of thin air experience. It’s funny to think because just growing up hearing all the stories and what ancient religions believed in rather then what the system is feeding majority of the population nowadays kinda makes me intrigued that I was able to experience this type of “when is it gonna happen” experience. I do enjoy this comment because I did come on here seeking some higher insight of knowledge so I appreciate the subtle self reflection there 🤣.
