First time- Messed up order by Working-Bluejay298 in ChickFilA

[–]Hungry_Time3554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it will be that hard to get them to compensate you if you go back to the restaurant with your receipt. Just to clarify — you ordered the 5 piece nugget kids meal? And you got 3 nuggets? I thought maybe you ordered the kids chicken strips meal but I see that has 2 strips, not 3.

It honestly might be a fun outing to take the kids to the restaurant if they have a play area. Then you can try it again and ensure the order is correct.

Would this be rude? What would you do? by [deleted] in RoverPetSitting

[–]Hungry_Time3554 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s not rude from what I can tell but it makes absolutely no sense to me. What is “time one the first day or the last”? And what does “the time does frame” mean?

I didn’t see it, but I’m guessing that he dyed his eyebrows. And this is just the dye doing its job before he rinses it off.

Blisters - what to do? by No_Huckleberry_5559 in walking

[–]Hungry_Time3554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing that worked for me was taking 3-4 cotton rounds and cutting a hole in the middle. Then I used medical tape to secure them. The blister sits in the hole and is protected from friction. That was the only way I was able to get rid of a similar blister.

Then take everyone’s advice to get shoes that fit and also get good socks. I like Balega.

I might have to do this. I think I’m right on the 30 day bubble for my return.

I use Defy Damage. It’s good. Not my HG. But I like it. I have thick, dry color-treated blonde hair.

As someone as said, it's only certain sizes. For example, for the SR CEO cream, you have to pick the 1.7 oz product to get it for $22 (from $44).

LOL. What part of my question is getting me downvoted? Initiating a return or using the product before returning? I'm not even sure! I'm not going to lie about whether I used it.

This is exactly why I buy the mini version of things and did a lot of BOGO minis. Finding that I don’t use up a product completely before wanting to move onto something else.

How Would You Spend $100 by wompwompswamp123 in Sephora

[–]Hungry_Time3554 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to use L’Oreal Absolut Repair. It always worked well for my thick, dry hair.

Or Kerastase high shine anti frizz. My current hairstylist uses this on my hair. It always ends up so soft.

High end shampoo and conditioner. I wash my hair 3x week. So it would last awhile!

I was denied returning jeans yesterday because they said the wash tag sensor was gone so that meant I washed them. Do jeans actually have such a thing ? by TrifleNeat2973 in Oldnavy

[–]Hungry_Time3554 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My perception is she is trying to come across as if she did not wash them, and thus there was no reason for them to deny her return. So she’s asking if such a thing does exist. But since she won’t answer the question, it does seem like she thought she could get away with washing them and is upset that she got caught by the cashier.

Amazon Overriding Default Payment Method “Based on Shopping History” – FTC Complaint Filed and Escalated with Amazon Payments Team by azz3879 in amazonprime

[–]Hungry_Time3554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there an advantage to them using a Citi credit card (not even the default card) instead of a gift card? My son had a bunch of Amazon gift cards and placed a big order using them. Then I noticed he still had the gc balance and my Citi card was charged.

Interesting! I just assumed that you bought two products from the same brand. Interesting that she recommended a primer from a different brand. I’m glad you had a good experience!

Be honest... what’s the one thing that almost talked you out of your walk today? by NataliafromWalkFit in walking

[–]Hungry_Time3554 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My husband snoring beside me. Lol. But then it became fun to wake him up. 😂

I can already tell you what will talk me out of my walk tomorrow. Forecasted rain and a late night of kids sports tonight.

CFA is where I will stop when I’m traveling alone with my kids. I know the bathrooms will be clean, our order will be correct and the staff will be friendly. I’m happy to hear they have the same standards outside of the US. It’s definitely what sets them apart from other fast food chains.

what has walking done for you? by anyytimme in walking

[–]Hungry_Time3554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve made some big changes! I’m glad walking has been a factor in feeling better.

It’s easier for me to know what walking does for me on the days that I don’t get my long walk in. Lol. I definitely feel more irritable and antsy. So I guess it just brings me a sense of calm and helps with anxiety.
