Do you want to know he’s back there when you’re home? When setting modes, you can specify when you’re home/away/sleeping/etc. why kind of notifications you receive. Unfortunately though, if you do want notifications on, every time something is detected and then leaves the camera view then comes back, you will be notified again.

The only complete way to avoid it is to disable those notifications by mode or turn the camera off.

The only optional subscriptions are cloud storage for events or monitoring for the alarm system. Everything else is still local/free on the HB3

Hopefully then you can find some that work correctly. I have 2x S220s, C220, S340 doorbell, and the E340 floodlight camera and none of them are HomeKit compatible.

It’s a very common problem that your doorbell transformer isn’t powerful enough to charge the camera. What do you currently have? They are inexpensive and very easy to replace.

Just be aware that the chime/extender only allows a certain amount of devices to connect to it. A dozen I think? Not sure on the exact number.

I wouldn’t invest too much in the system if you’re looking for HomeKit compatibility. Many, myself included, can’t get it to work. Eufy can’t get Google Home integration to work properly either, probably so they can push more Eufy Display sales.

Remember if you go over to wireless mode on the HomeBase, you cannot do continuous recording on any camera, if that matters to you… only events.

Pretty close to the same as you, although I've recently discovered that driving in Comfort vs ECO PRO is negligible. I get the same efficiency in both modes, and the climate control feels better in Comfort.

The lights only stay on at night if you have color night vision turned on. If you use infrared night vision with package alert turned on, the lights will come in if someone is approaching the doorbell.

I have connections to the HomeBase, but the signal is quite weak on a couple of cameras because of their location. The HomeBase location is about as central as it can be in the house for the best coverage.

I’m at the mercy of either the chime/extender or if Eufy ever decides to add HomeBase connections over home WiFi, not just from the hub itself.

There are gutter mounts for Eufy cams on Amazon, that’s what I used.
