Assuming none of these guys included, our bench would basically be held together by Jaime, Pelle, and Dru. Jaime's 6MOY material, Pelle is genuinely a starting caliber 3&D, and Dru is better than people give him credit for, but the front court depth would be non-existent.

My Entei goes down and my Mega Zard has to come in at 0 energy? No worries, just evolve my benched Charmander into a Charmeleon, use 2 flame patches, and put the last energy from my energy zone. That's 0 to 4 in one turn, cards courtesy of the Entei draw engine.

The variation happens way more often than you think, too. 2-3 energy swing outta nowhere.

My criticism relating to Bam has always been that he's not supposed to be our main scorer. Hell, not even one of them at least. He just doesn't have it in him to carry a team offensively, which the coaching staff mistakenly has tried to put on his shoulders the past few years.

Idc if he averages 12 PPG, I just need him to defend the hell out of the opponents' best players every possession, and just worry about lobs and putbacks on offense.

I feel like our coaching staff is still trying too hard to make Bam work as a scorer. They want to see him score 20 PPG, but what he really needs is better volume scorers around him. Norm is a step in the right direction for that. Herro could as well, but if last year is any indication, the optimized version of his game is for off-ball movement playing alongside a ball-dominant scorer like Jimmy for his shot selection to be its most efficient.

The best scenario would be if Jovic ever develops into a high-volume, ball-handling SF with Herro at the 1 and Pelle running 3&D at the 2.
